    Most of us mistakenly think that creativity is a quality belonging only to inventors rather to ourselves.The following tips are a great beginning for developing our creativity.

    ⒈Get out of your comfort zone

    Break out of your usual patterns and welcome creativity into your life. The human brain was designed to recognize patterns. We continue to create patterns and routines for almost everything we do.As we become more efficient at using patterns, we rely less on creativity to find new paths. We should force ourselves out of our comfort zones and open up new possibilities.

    If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. We are creatures of habits and routines, but creativity hates routines. Interrupt your routine and try something new. Undoubtedly, new things are often creative.

⒊Take action

     You must work to make it a reality. Have you ever seen a new product and realized that you thought of the same thing long ago? Yet someone else is making money with “your” idea. The difference between a dreamer and a doer is action. If you can put your ideas into practice, you are well on your way to improving your creativity. You can become a true inventor in your own life somehow!

Keep Your Privacy (隐私)

    Anybody who uses the Internet has been asked to sign in, log in, or create a personal profile (简介). Kids need to check with a parent or grown-up before doing so. Why?{#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

    Another way to keep your privacy is to choose a screen name or email account name that isn't your real name.

A. You can do all these things online.

How to Retain More of Every Book You Read

    In recent years, I have focused on building good reading habits and learned how to read more. For most people, the final goal of reading a nonfiction book is to actually improve their life by learning a new skill, understanding an important problem, or looking at the world in a new way{#blank#}1{#/blank#} With that in mind, I'd like to share three reading comprehension skills that I use to make my reading more productive.

    Make all of your notes searchable. Having searchable book notes is important for returning to ideas easily{#blank#}2{#/blank#} An idea is only useful if you can find it when you need it. There is no need to leave the task of reading comprehension merely up to your memory.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} When you go to the library, all of the books will be divided into different categories. In the real world, of course, knowledge is not separated into neatly defined boxes{#blank#}4{#/blank#}For that reason, I try to consider how the book Fm reading is connected with all of the ideas that are already inside my head. Whenever possible, I try to combine the lessons Fm learning with previous ideas.

    Summarize the book in one paragraph{#blank#}5{#/blank#}It forces me to review my notes and consider what is really important about the book. In many cases, I find that I can usually get just as much useful information from reading my one-paragraph summary and reviewing my notes as I would if I read the entire book again.

A. Combine thoughts as you read.

C. Describe the book to your friends.

D. Read widely if you want to practice the skills.

E. It increases the chances that you will apply what you read in real life.

F. Once I finish a book, I challenge myself to conclude the text in just three sentences.

    It's a cruel reality that exercising is not a reliable way to lose weight and keep it off. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Here are the benefits of regular exercise.

    A new study had found that just a short period of exercise can help improve the ability to remember things in the hours that follow. The report says, “Exercising four hours after learning a task can help people remember that task in the long term”

    It may keep off depression.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Researchers found that women who exercised regularly reported about 50% fewer depressive signs than women who didn't exercise as much. And the more the women reported exercising, the less likely they were to have signs of depression.

    It can control appetite.(食欲)

    Exercise may be the key to controlling your appetite . A study found that people who exercised for 15 minutes after doing mental work ate 100 fewer calories than people who did mental work and then remained seated. Exercise has the ability to increase available fuel sources in the body that may signal to the brain. “{#blank#}4{#/blank#}I don't need to fill myself with food,” says study author William H. Neumeirer.

    It increases energy.

    In a recent report, men who cycled for 20 minutes experienced a 166% increase in self-reported energy levels, compared with a 15% increase when they sat and did nothing for the same amount of time.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    Lazy people will never amount to anything in life. However, laziness can be defeated once a few changes have been made in your mind.

Laziness works hand in hand with a lack of motivation and a tendency to put off things.     Another way to fight laziness is to change your mind from passive to active. Some people treat their lives as if they were pushed from task to task. Others take a more active method, viewing each task as a challenge they must overcome alone.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Some people fight laziness by removing the temptations(诱惑) that are around them. A television in the living room may provide entertainment, but watching too much TV often contributes to laziness. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Complete a few tasks and reward yourself with what you enjoy, such as a good dinner or a film.

    Laziness can also be a lasting problem at home. Couples and children may all have different energy levels, but laziness can be spread if not dealt with immediately. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Be the first to collect and wash dishes after a meal. Others in the home may finally follow your example and perform their own task. It is difficult to practice laziness when you are surrounded by motivated people.

Social Media

    Social media can be defined(解释)as web-based and mobile media that are used for people to interact ,connect and communicate with each other. It often involves the creation and sharing of content (writing, pictures, and video) that people make themselves, mostly through the Internet.

Facebook is an example of this type. Many people like to play games on the Internet and, yes, there are social media games as well. These games allow gamers to interact with each other and play with or against other gamers. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} The final type of social media is websites like Second Life, where people can create avatars(化身)and use and create objects, as if they were in the real world.

    Social media are different from traditional media. With social media, many individual people in different places create content.

    Another difference is that people who produce content in social media don't need very special skills.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} It takes only a few minutes to write a twitter post, for example.

Fear of Missing Out

It's a common experience: You're scrolling through a social media page, and you see pictures of friends traveling or going to parties. Suddenly you start to wonder why you're not doing those things. Are you missing out on something fun and exciting because you're locked into everyday life? This experience has come to be known as the fear of missing out, sometimes abbreviated(缩写) FOMO.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} But with the rise of social media, FOMO is becoming much more common.

Wanting to be in on the fun when exciting things are happening is completely normal. But for some people, it can lead to an addiction to checking their phones to find out what other people are doing. Even while doing things that are fun or necessary, people can feel like there's something better going on elsewhere. This urge to connect can lead them to disconnect from the people they are actually with.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}It can even be dangerous; some people try to check messages while driving.

Remember that what people choose to post on social media does not necessarily reflect their life overall. People tend to pick and choose the things they share, so we only ever know a small part of anyone else's life.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} You cannot be everywhere and do everything that might be interesting or productive, and that's OK.

It might even be necessary to turn off your phone or log out of social media for a while.{#blank#}4{#/blank#}You can even set particular times in your day to check email and social media. By stepping away for a time, you can help keep other people's lives in perspective.

Finally, focus on the things in front of you. Enjoy them, do them well and let everything else go. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

Don't let the fear of missing out cause you to miss out on the good things you have in life. Relax, enjoy what you do and let other people enjoy their lives without envying them.
