I first met Steve Jobs years ago at a yard pool party. I was {#blank#}1{#/blank#} excited and embarrassed by the chance to meet him in person that I could hardly whisper my name when we {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(introduce). I watched as he swam in the pool with his son, like a regular guy, a good dad {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(have) fun with his kids.

    The second time I met him was when our children started going to school together. He was sitting in the classroom while {#blank#}4{#/blank#}rest of us were pretending that having Steve Jobs in the room was {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (total) normal. It was one Halloween when I realized he actually knew my name, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} made me a little surprised. {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(dress) like a monster, he was decorating a scary house with his wife. As I walked by with my son, Steve smiled and said, “Hi, Lisen”, My son thought I was the {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(cool)mom in town when he realized Steve Jobs knew me.

    {#blank#}9{#/blank#} then on, when I saw him holding his meetings in our neighborhood, I didn't hesitate to smile and say hi. Steve always {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (return) the greetings, proving that while he may have been a genius, he was also a good neighbor.

    Taking your pet for a walk should be {#blank#}1{#/blank#}enjoyable experience, not one which leaves your arms {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (pain) after your dog running too far away, reaching the end of the dog leash (狗绳).     The first foreign language I studied was French, and I learnt it at a secondary school between the ages of 11 and 18. It was a compulsory subject for the first three years and I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (choose) to continue studying it afterwards because I enjoyed it, found it {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (interest) and was quite good at it. Outside class I practiced {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (listen) to the French language radio and reading French books.

    In September 2009 I joined a couple of French conversation {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (group) in Bangor and I have been going to them ever since. It has resulted in my {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (improve) in my spoken French.

    Now I can still speak French fluently and can also read it well, but my written French is not so good.

    This morning, they left on a long trip to Hawaii. They were as {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(excite) as if it were their honeymoon(蜜月).

    When my parents married(结婚), they had only enough money for a three-day trip fifty miles from home. They made an {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(agree) that each day they would put a dollar in a special metal box and save it for a honeymoon in Hawaii for their fiftieth anniversary(周年纪念).

    My parents {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(be) always very much in love since the day they got married. I can remember Dad {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(come) home and telling Mom, “I have a dollar in my pocket,” and she would smile {#blank#}8{#/blank#}him and say, “I know how to spend it.”

    When each of us children married, Mom and Dad gave us a small metal box and told us their secret, {#blank#}9{#/blank#}we found attractive. All five of us are now saving for our dream honeymoon. Mom and Dad never told us how much money they had managed {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(save), but it must have been fairly large because when they cashed in those CDs, they had enough for the flights to Hawaii and a hotel room for ten days and plenty of spending money.
