AJ Donnelly, a British vlogger, visited Qingzhen to find its special customs and wonderful landscapes. In this video trip, AJ showed us around the Hongfeng Lake, which is full of beautiful red leaves in autumn, and China's newest popular place in the Internet, the Yangpi Waterfall, which means"goat skin"in Chinese. According to a local farmer, back in the day farmers at the far end of the river connecting to the waterfall would raise goats. And when they killed their goats, they threw the goat skin away in the river. That's why we have the name Yangpi Waterfall. In the Ludishao TeaExpo Garden,AJ enjoyed himself in a tea garden. He even tried hand-picking his own tea and tried some to see if it tasted good. AJ also visited the Miao and Bouyei ethnic village in Maige town inQingzhen. Their amazing clothing unexpectedly appeared in Milan Fashion Week and offered the world a nice surprise.

Mother's Day is coming. It is a time to let your mother know she's special to you. Let's see the history of Mother's Day in different countries.

Long, long ago, in Greece, people celebrated a mid­March day. On that day they showed admiration to Rhea. Rhea was the Mother of the Gods.

Later, English people had their own "Mothering Sunday". It was the 4th Sunday of Lent(四月斋)before the Easter Eve. People usually bought a fruit cake as a gift to Mom. Today English people still celebrate the holiday on the 4th Sunday of Lent.

In America, Mother's Day is a national holiday today. People first celebrated it in 1908 in just one state in the United States. It was all because of Anna M. Jarvis's hard work. She wrote so many letters to important people of that time because she wanted to have a day to show love and admiration to mothers. In 1914，the American President Woodrow Wilson made the second Sunday in May Mother's Day.

I have recently returned from a trip to London and Paris. It is great to see the historical places in London such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. If you get tired of the historical sites, I can 1 you a good place to travel—the Hard Rock Cafe. It is always 2 to get a T-shirt from there. Also, try to visit the pubs in London. It is very relaxing to visit them. Getting around in London is 3 . Just take the underground to any place in the city.

On the other part of my trip, I visited Paris. It is 4 the most beautiful city I have ever visited. I advise you to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, visit the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre Museum. The Louvre Museum is the museum where you can 5 the famous painting—the Mona Lisa. If you are 6 good food, go to the Latin Quarter. There you will find many cheap 7 . You can spend little money on meals. However, you should know a little French, because it is difficult to get around without knowing any French. Of course you can point out what you want on the 8 , and they understand money!

Another 9 place to visit while in Paris is the Palace of Versailles. It is so big and beautiful. The 10 to Europe was probably one of my most wonderful experiences, and I did it all in a week.

To teach kids friend- making skills, people in Australia started a project called URStrong. It gives kids classes on friendships to help them make friends. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Here are some ways of making a new friend from the friendship classes.

Introduce yourself first. Look the person in the eye, smile and say," Hi! My name is ... What's your name?" After he or she answers, say something like," It's really nice to meet you." It is really as simple as that! {#blank#}3{#/blank#} If you get them wrong, they will feel sad!

Ask questions. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} But remember, you have to be a good listener before you can ask good questions.

Don't be shy. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Then your new friends can get to know you! Soon enough, you will be the best of friends!

Enjoy something together. Try to find an activity you both like and ask the other person to play with you.

A Special Day

 One day when I was seven years old, I went to a park with my parents and sisters. We played on the grass and sat on the see-saw(跷跷板). It was a wonderful day. 

 Now, as a parent, I often think of how my words and actions might influence my children. Something ordinary might just become a special memory for them. 

 Last year, when my son turned four, we had a special day. In the morning, we drove to the train station and bought two tickets. We stood on the platform, enjoyed the sunshine and watched the trains come and go. Soon afterwards, we caught our train. We took two window seats and watched houses, bikers and cars whiz by(呼啸而过). 

 After getting off the train, we walked to a restaurant. We sat, looked through the menu and asked each other what we would like to eat. We waited patiently for our food and tried everything we had ordered. The foods were all our favorite. 

 Then, we walked around the city center. We visited a toy shop and ended up buying a train. After all, it was the little man's birthday. We also enjoyed some hot chocolate at a coffee shop. Finally, we made our way back to the train station and returned home. 

 Every so often, my son will look at me with dreamy eyes and ask, "Mama, when can we have a special day again?"

 Sometimes, we go to a park; sometimes, we try out a new restaurant. We don't do this too often, or it won't be special. But we don't do it too rarely, either, or we might forget how much we both love having them.
