| The AI Government Adviser in Romania Romania recently introduced the world's first AI(人 工 智 能 ) government adviser called Ion. The AI robot Ion looks like a large, smart mirror. It can collect the opinions of Romanians to help the government understand what the people care about. People can visit Ion's website and social media pages, or even meet it face to face to tell their ideas to the AI. Ion will summarize different kinds of needs and questions. |
| Exploring(探索) the moon and Mars may no longer be surprising. NASA announced in January that it had partnered with another US agency to build nuclear thermal(核动力) rocket engines. A trip to Mars will take about seven months. Although scientists aren't sure about the exact time a trip with nuclear engines will take, the technology will make travel time less and cut down the risk astronauts will face. |
| New Drone(无 人 机 ) at Home in Air and Water Chinese researchers have developed a diving(潜 水 ) drone that can change between flying and swimming. It weighs 1.63 kilograms and is 38 centimeters wide, which can fly for six minutes in the air or operate underwater for 40 minutes. It can be used for exploration, search and other jobs. It will be designed in different sizes and will be able to work in deep sea environments after further technical breakthroughs. |
