Holidays are not necessarily for fun or rest. Doing something meaningful can also get special pleasure. When the final bell rang, the 1 were reminded that there was no school on Monday —Labor Day.

Kayla was excited about the news. She loved breaks. She wanted to go out to play with her friends. When the school bus 2 Kayla off, she ran into the house and told her mother happily,"Mom, I am excited about no school on Monday."

Kayla slept in the next morning. Saturday was her 3 day of the week. She could enjoy playing video games all day. On Sunday, her friends came 4 and they played basketball for several hours.

Ikee was the brightest star in pool at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games. However in 2019, she was badly ill. It has not been easy for the star to return to the pool. So, when Ikee stood on the podium (领奖台) in Hangzhou for winning silver (银) in the women's 4×100m freestyle relay on Sunday, she received a warm welcome from the crowd.

My Home Town— Jinhua

Let me introduce (介绍) my home town Jinhua to you. Jinhua is one of the most livable (宜居的){#blank#}1{#/blank#}(city) in China. It {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(lie) in the centre of Zhejiang Province. It is on the Jinhua River and has {#blank#}3{#/blank#} population of about 7,127,000. It's neither too hot nor too cold all year round. The best time {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(visit) Jinhua is autumn. It's usually sunny and it's  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(cool) than other cities in Zhejiang. Jinhua is an ancient city {#blank#}6{#/blank#} a history of over 1,800 years. There are many famous places here, such {#blank#}7{#/blank#} Shuanglong Cave, Hengdian World Studios and Wuyi Hot Spring. You can enjoy beautiful sights (风景){#blank#}8{#/blank#} taste delicious food here. Jinhua is such a clean and beautiful city that everyone {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (love) it. 

In short, it's a {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(great) place than any other place in my heart. I love my home town.
