Dancing is popular all over the world. People dance in theaters, in parks or in their own living room. But Yang Liu, a woman in Guizhou, dances in an unusual place. Her dancing place is a bamboo pole（竹竿）.

Yang is a performer of bamboo drifting（独竹漂）. It is a traditional skill（技术）in the girl's hometown. In the past, the local people were so poor that there were few bridges over the river for people to walk across. They crossed the rivers by riding on a bamboo pole. Now, bamboo drifting has become a folk sport.

Yang started to learn bamboo drifting at the age of seven. The bamboo pole is very slippery and it never stops moving. Yang fell into the water again and again. But the girl didn't want to give up. She always got back up on the pole and tried again. She practiced hard every day for three years. Finally, she was able to keep her balance on the pole.

But Yang didn't just stop there. She wanted to live out her dream of becoming a dancer on a bamboo pole. The girl practiced many difficult movements on the pole. She failed lots of times, but she never stopped trying.

Her hard work finally paid off. Now 26, Yang has made a name for herself as a dancer on a bamboo pole. People can't believe their eyes whenever they watch her performances. Through Yang's dances, many people now know about bamboo drifting. They have learned the beauty of this traditional skill.

Buy a ticket to the Disgusting Food Museum in Sweden, and you'll find it is not printed on a piece of paper.

"Instead, it is a vomit(呕吐) bag with our logo,"said Samuel West, who set up the museum. It was a joke. But it sounds reasonable in some ways. Inside the museum, the foods with some of the world's most terrible smells are on display. Walking around in it, someone may want to vomit.

Yet making people vomit is not West's purpose. "I want people to know that disgust is always in the eye of the visitors," said West. "We usually find things we're not familiar with disgusting."For example, the tree-ant larvae (幼虫) eaten in Mexico.

There are nearly 80 dishes in the museum. They come from Asia, Europe, the United States, Central and South America, Africa and Australia.

West wants people to know that disgust isn't just about taste or smell. It's also about the way the food is made. In the museum, some foods might taste pretty good, but are made in a terrible way. Those include French foie gras (鹅肝酱). This dish needs to feed ducks or geese with force. Another example is the monkey brain(脑). It is said that in some places, people eat the brain while the animal still lives.

West hopes that the museum will help people rethink what is delicious food. He also wants to encourage people to try more food that are environmentally friendly.

We all enjoy being part of a group — there's no better work than teamwork, right? Actually, I disagree. Teamwork can be hard. In fact, it was so difficult that I left my office job and started working from home on my own. It's much better fit for me, and it has made me think about why teamwork can make our job harder rather than easier.

Personalities(个性) can make teamwork difficult. There is often someone on the team that puts their needs first. The team often goes along with this person whose ideas might not be the best, just the loudest. Just one difficult personality can make teamwork hard. Combine(结合) several challenging personality types and it's even harder.

Not having enough time together can also make teamwork challenging. For example, I was once on a team where we never had enough time to meet as a group. To successfully work as a team, you need time together — and lots of it.

A final reason teamwork is difficult is because there is often no training on how to work on a team. You can't just put people in a room and expect them to work well with each other. You need to build trust with your team members. Think of football players: They aren't just given a ball and told to play. They practice, and they train.

Team can be hard, but working alone has its challenges, too. When my computer doesn't work, I don't have an IT person to turn to. When I have a great idea, I don't have anyone to share it with to see if it really is a great idea. Don't get me wrong — I still like my team of one and enjoy making all of important decisions myself. But now I realize what was wrong with the teamwork I did in the past and how good teamwork could be if done correctly. And that's useful information — because one day I might want to turn ME TEAM into a WE TEAM.

The schools in America are very different from our country's. In America, the school day usually starts at 9: 00 a. m. and1 at about 4: 00 p. m. The school subjects are different from2 . In China, we always have Chinese, maths, English, P. E. and soon. But in America, students have3 lessons than us, such as cooking and driving lessons. They study very4 . But their life isn't just about study. They have more things5 . There are many clubs in American schools too. If the students are6 in sports, they can join different sports clubs. From 2: 30 p. m. to 4: 00 p. m. , they do different things in different clubs. All students 7 join at least one club. 

Maybe you think English is very popular in the world, so American students don't need to learn other languages. 8 that's not true. In fact, American children from9 age of seven choose a foreign language to learn. 10 , they learn French, Japanese or Chinese.
