Each of them carries its own cultural value and has special meaning to Chinese. For example, on the back of l- yuan RMB is West Lake in Zhejiang. The location has been a great place for admiring the moon. The moon light reflected on the water is especially amazing during Mid- Autumn festival.

On the back of 5- yuan RMB is Taishan Mountain in Shandong. For thousands of years, many emperors would go there and wish the God to prevent the countries from bad luck.

Have you ever been to the Three Gorges(三峡), which includes Qutang, Wu and Xiling Gorge? It is also called San Xia which is regarded as one of the most ten famous sceneries in China. On the back of 10- yuan RMB is the west gate of. Qutang Gorge in Chongqing.

Lijiang River is on the back of 20- yuan RMB. It is near Guilin city in Guangxi, south of China. On the back of 50- yuan RMB is the Potala Palace(布达拉宫) in Tibet. It is a typical building in ancient China. On the back of 100- yuan RMB is the Great Hall of People (人民大会堂) in Beijing. It is for many important meetings every year.

We have made a survey(调查) about" sports" in our grade. There are 700 students in our grade, including 400 boys and 300 girls. Here are the results. 

According to the results, the PE teacher gave us the following suggestions. Boys and girls should play sports together and try some different sports. Trying some new sports like football may bring us some surprises.

 Brainstorming is the practice of coming up with ideas or solutions. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} But we do have some rules to follow for successful brainstorming.

Focus on quantity over quality(质量). When it comes to brainstorming, the more ideas, the better. Don't worry about the quality of your ideas for now. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Remember that your goal is to come up with as many ideas as possible. Even if none of them are perfect, you' ll still have many creative ideas to use for your final plan.

 Encourage big or unusual ideas. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Unusual ideas may not be immediately practical, but creating those ideas gives your brain training. It can also help to produce creative solutions that are hard to come up with.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#}  Don't say no to the ideas of others. You can put together the best parts of different ideas to create new, even better ones. Even if you' re not brainstorming as a group, you should still think about sharing your ideas with others and asking them for their advice.

 You don't have to regard yourself as a very creative person to come up with excellent ideas and solutions at once. Brainstorming can help unlock ideas. Even if you don't find the perfect solution, just practicing it can help to improve your creativity. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

This morning I went out to have breakfast in a small restaurant with a friend. It was sunny and the wind was gentle. Everything was lovely. But what wasn't lovely was the lady who took our order. She spoke to my friend in a way that was unhappy, certainly not friendly, and sort of rude. Working in hotel myself, I noticed it.

When it came to my turn to get close and order my food, I thought to myself, "What can I do here to make her day nice, to touch her to make her smile?". I was watching her and considering what to do.

Surely there must be something I could do. Then there it was and I knew，it was her voice. She had the most unbelievably well-spoken and clear voice. It was so good. It's so clear, well-spoken and sounds so professional. That was it.

So after she took my order and gave the same unfriendly attitude. I told her , "I hope you don't mind me saying, but____. " I told her how she honestly had one of those voices that would be perfect for announcements or even radio.

Her whole face lit up. She smiled (the first time I had seen her do so) and as I left and walked away, I noticed her whole attitude change. The customer behind me received a totally different kind of service. A happier one. All because of the simple thing I did. Surprisingly, she sent me a note to show her thanks when we pay the bill, which also makes my lovely day.

There was a time when this sort of thing would have embarrassed（使尴尬） me. Or I'd have been too shy to say such a thing. Not now. Now I must! Why? Because there is great power in words and I have the power. The power to completely change someone's day by something as simple as a few kind words and being kind. And you have this power too. We all do.

 In modern cities, it is now time as much as space that separates urban functions, as people's lives are lived not only to different timetables, but also at wildly different rates. The mass timetable of the industrial city, with 9-5 offices hours and silent Sundays, has gone. In its place is flexible-time, part-time working, Sunday shopping and the 24-hour city.

 European cities are responding to these changes perhaps faster than British cities. In at least half a dozen cities in Italy, for example, you will find the Uffici Tempil— the Offices of Time. What they do is try to reorganise time more flexibly in the city, in order to meet new needs. This is particularly relevant for Italian women, an increasing number of whom have to balance two timetables: work and home. Usually located in the Mayor's office, the Uffici Tempil bring together transport providers, shop-owners, employers, trade unions, the police and other services to see how their efforts might be better harmonised(使…和谐). The main aim in all this is to increase efficiency and productivity of the city. This can mean delaying the starting times in schools, offices and factories to avoid rush hours, or having shops opening later in the day but closing later too. One further benefit is that there can be more police about in the evening, patrolling(巡逻) the streets when people most need them.

 In a number of German cities, people have been debating whether the timetable of the future city should be 6x6 or 4x9 — working hours, that is. Apparently male workers favour a four-day week, while women workers, on the other hand, favour six shorter working days. This would give employees more time in the afternoon to be with children or to get the shopping.

The need for public services to adapt to (适应) our changing lifestyles has been quite difficult for some of the staff involved. After all who likes working evenings or Sundays?

 Nevertheless, many city centres are now open for shopping seven days a week, and a number of them now promote themselves as‘24-hour cities', where those with money can drink, eat, dance and even shop the whole night.

 Time is flexible, but buildings aren't. The mismatch between the structure of the city and its uses, over time, is a serious architectural and planning problem. Adaptability has become the key skill. We are slowly abandoning the terms of dormitory suburbs and industrial districts, in favour of mixed-use areas, out-of-town retailing (零售) and working from home. There is no doubt that planning theory is being challenged by the changing nature of time in the modern.
