If you live in Shanghai, you might have taken a "lesson" in sorting(分类)garbage, as the city introduced new garbage-sorting rules on July 1, 2019.

As China's first city to carry out the strict rules, people in Shanghai should sort garbage into four kinds, namely recyclable(可回收利用的), harmful, dry and wet waste.    As a result, the daily waste in Shanghai has been reduced(减少)by an average(平均)of 15, 500 tons, dropping 26 percent from the end of 2018, while the average daily weight of recyclables is 4, 500 tons, five times higher than the end of 2018.

"Proper waste sorting protects the environment and saves natural resources," said Deng Jianping, director of the project. "Led by the central government, Shanghai is making efforts to develop long-term methods to deal with garbage. "

However, there have also been some problems. Some people complained that it is difficult to deal with wet garbage, as they are asked to remove wet garbage from its bag when dumping(倾倒).

According to the sorting rules, the wet garbage must go in the wet waste bin and the bag must go in the dry waste bin. Then the wet garbage will decompose(分解)properly and become useful waste. Now some people in Shanghai are instead using paper bags that can biodegrade(生物降解)or plastic boxes that can be washed and reused.

A、recyclable, dry, harmful and kitchen waste B、recyclable, kitchen, dry and "other" waste C、harmful, recyclable, dry and "other" waste D、harmful, recyclable, dry and wet waste

(3)、According to Deng Jianping, Shanghai        .
A、has produced more garbage cans B、has had difficulties with garbage sorting C、will help other cities make garbage-sorting rules D、is still looking for long-term ways to deal with garbage
(4)、Why do people think it's difficult to deal with wet garbage?
A、Because it's harmful. B、Because the waste and the bag must be put in two bins. C、Because it's too expensive. D、Because it can't be decomposed.
(5)、This article tell us     .
A、why Shanghai must sort their garbage B、how Shanghai sorts their garbage C、the achievements and problems of garbage-sorting in Shanghai D、how to protect our environment

I'm Patrick McCarthy, but you can call me Pat. This is the space where I can help you with your daily life problems.

Dear Patrick,

When I make decorations by myself, people often see me as a kid because of my age and suggest I look for advice from my parents. How can I show them that I can make my own decisions?

Reply to Lily:

Try not to take what other people say too seriously. People will always have different ideas about you, whatever your age is. The best thing to do in your situation is to believe in yourself.

Dear Patrick,

I'm a Chinese boy. Some of my classmates wear Nike or Adidas shoes because they are expensive. When I wear cheaper shoes like Anta, they laugh at me. What should I do?

Reply to Qin:

There is nothing special about Nike or Adidas. Their shoes are made in the factories like your Anta shoes, but Anta is from your country, China, as you know.

Dear Patrick,

My dad is always very busy at work and spends little time with me. I feel like he's becoming more and more like a stranger to me. Sometimes I don't even know how to feel close to him when he's around. What should I do?

Reply to Hai:

My dad is very similar to yours. You can suggest an activity you two could do together, like going to the movies. Something interests both you and your father is OK.
