Weather Report

    I'm Chen Jie. I don't go to school on the weekend. I often do my homework on Saturday morning. I play computer games on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning, I often read books and watch TV. In the afternoon, I help my mother do housework.

    Everyone wants to have good manners, but it is not so easy. We must care about everything in life. There is something we should know.

    First, say "hello" to people you meet, not only to teachers, but also to your friends and your classmates, and even your neighbors. Second, help others as much as you can. Then everybody will like you. Third, don't laugh at others. That will be impolite and hurt them. Fourth, never ask others about their personal information. If others have something that they cannot say, they will be very embarrassed.

    Good manners make things easier. They can help people to get on well with each other. When you are nice to people, they will be nice to you.

    Jim is a good student at school. He never breaks(违犯) the school rules. All of his teachers like him a lot. But he is not a good boy at home. He often makes a mess(杂乱) in his room. He doesn't like to help his mother set the table(摆放餐桌). He usually watches TV on weekday evenings. He goes to bed very late and reads in bed. Jim's mother writes some family rules for him:

    This is my school day. I usually get up at 6:30 in the morning. I have breakfast at 7 o'clock. Then I go to school at 7:30. It's 8:15 now. I have a Chinese class. I have an art class at 10:30. I finish class at 5:30 p.m. and then go home.

    My name's Tom. I'm ten years old. I'm a pupil. My school is not very big, but it's beautiful. There is a computer room in my school. It's bright and clean. There are many computers in it. There is a computer in our classroom too. We have lessons with it. It is useful. My school has two libraries. The big library is for us. The small one is for teachers. The playground is big. I like playing football there. I like my school.
