How to keep healthy

    Here are some things you can do to keep you healthy.

    Having a good diet is very important. It means eating lots of different kinds of food and lots of fruit and vegetables. They are good for your health.

    Doing exercise is a way of keeping you healthy too. Exercise makes you fit and helps you relax. So exercise every day from now on.

    Some things are bad for your health, like smoking and drinking alcohol.You had better give upthese things.

    You should go to see a doctor every year. The doctor can help you find some problems.

    Long long ago, there was a frog. He lived in a well(水井) and he never went out of the well. One day a crow(乌鸦) came to the well. He saw the frog and said, "Hello, Frog." Then the frog asked, "Where are you from?" "I'm from the sky." The frog didn't believe the crow. He thought the sky was only as big as(和……一样的人) the mouth of the well. The crow told the frog the sky was very big. He asked the frog to come out, so the frog came out from the well. He was very surprised, "How big the world is!"

    There are some rules in our school. We must wear school uniforms in the school every day. We must wear sneakers in PE classes. Boys can' t have long hair. We shouldn't be late for school.

    We shouldn't talk in the school library. If we have any questions in class, we should put up our hands first. We should stand up when we answer teachers' questions. We mustn't fight against others. We should always obey the rules(遵守规则).

    Jim is an English boy. He comes to China with his father and mother. They come here to work. Jim comes here to study.

    He is in No. 5 Middle School. He gets up early every day. He isn't late for school. He studies hard. He can read English well. He often helps us with our English, and we often help him with his Chinese. After class he likes playing football, swimming, running, jumping and riding. He makes many friends here. We are glad to stay with him. On Sunday he often helps his mother clean the house, do the shopping. He likes Chinese food very much.

    He likes living here. He likes Chinese students very much. We all like him, too.
