My name is Maggie.I am a 13-year-old Canadian girl. I live in Toronto. It's a very big city. I can speak English and French. I have classes from 8:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. I have lunch at school.     What are your favourite fruits? Apples, bananas or oranges? I like apples very much. They are very good for us. I eat two apples every day(每天). My mother likes oranges. My father likes bananas. They are good, too. But I don't like them.

    Today is December 25 th. It's Christmas Day. It's winter now. It's cold, but I'm very happy. Because I can visit my grandparents. We will eat dinner together. I like winter best. I can make a snowman in winter. My mother's birthday is on December 12 th. So I can eat a big birthday cake in December.

    It's six thirty in the evening. My parents are cooking dinner in the kitchen. My father is cooking fish. It looks great. My mother is washing some vegetables and fruit.She wants to cook some soup with tomatoes and make fruit salad. I love the fish. It's yummy. I also love tomato soup and fruit salad. 

    Today is my mum's birthday. I want to make(做) dinner for Mum. I buy some vegetables and fruit. Apples and oranges are her favourite fruit. I also buy some chicken, fish and beef(牛肉) for dinner. I can make hamburgers for her. She likes hamburgers.

    Tom, Sue and John are good friends. They study in the same school. But they are not in the same class. Tom's birthday is on 21st February, next Sunday. Sue and John want to give him a big surprise (惊喜) on his birthday. They talk about it after school.

    Tom likes playing sport very much. He usually goes to the sports club on Sunday. So Sue and John can go to Tom's house and get ready for the party with Tom's parents on that day.

    On Sunday morning, they go to the supermarket to buy (买) some food, fruit and drinks. It is study afternoon now, Sue is making the cake. And John is making a model plane for Tom. Tom is very happy when he comes home.
