Susan: I'm really busy this term.

Linda: How many classes do you have every day?

Susan: Six.

Linda: Do you have English lessons every day?

Susan: Sure. We have five English classes in a week.

Linda: Do you have an art lesson?

Susan: Yes, it's on Wednesday.

Linda: When do you have P.E.?

Susan: On Tuesday and Thursday.

Linda: What's your favorite day?

Susan: My favorite day is Friday, because I have music and handwork(手工).

But I don't like Thursday.

Linda: Why don't you like it?

Susan: Because I have two science lessons. Science is too difficult for me.

    Many people think if you turn off your TV, your life will be colorful. They also suggest children should watch less TV. TV can give children big problems. First, it's bad for your studies, you spend too long on TV. You can't do well in school. Second, it's bad for your health. Because you watch too much TV, you are getting overweight and your eyesight is getting worse. Third, it's bad for your family life. While your families are watching TV, they don't talk too much. Also it has too much fighting. Some children always follow the fighting in real life.

    If you turn off your TV for a week, maybe you can find something fun to do. Maybe you can read books, learn to swim or paint pictures. What do you think? Would you want to have a try?

    A friend wrote me a letter a few weeks ago. He felt hopeless at the time. He ended his letter with this question "We can't really change this crazy world we live in, can we?" I replied to him and started my own letter with these words, "Yes, we most certainly can!"

    I can still remember someone who changed my world. She was a music teacher at my primary school. She was good at playing the guitar. I wanted to impress her. However, I didn't know how to play any instrument.

    One day, she let me try playing her guitar. I did my best, but could only stumble along(断断续续). When I had done, I put my head down. "I guess I am not very good, "I told her. She looked at me with her kind eyes, smiled at me and said, "We are all good at something. You just need to find out what you are good at. Then, you can share it with the world."

    Those simple words changed me. They planted a seed(种子)in my soul that continues to grow to this day. They made me realize that I had something good inside me. I just had to find it and share it.

    Can you change the world? Yes, you can! You can change it through one choice. one person, or one kind act at a time. All you have to do is to share your goodness. Mother Teresa once said, "God doesn't ask us to do great things, only small things with great love." So make your love great!

    I have ever been to many amusement parks in my country. But I have never been to a Disneyland Park. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}Disneyland is a special amusement park. It was built first in the US. There are six Disneyland Theme Parks in the world. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}China also has two Disneyland Parks. The others are in Japan and France. Shanghai Disneyland opened in 2016. I think this Disneyland will be more wonderful because of Shanghai's rapid development of modern technology. The Disneyland Parks mostly attract many children to play there. It's a great place for children to have fun. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} On the one hand, they can see the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck with their own eyes. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}My friend Li Ling went to Shanghai a few weeks ago. Last summer,Cathy's whole family went to New York City for their summer vacation. They stayed there for two weeks.

New York City has more than seven and a half million people.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} It is also the home of the United Nations.

First they visited the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty is one of New York's most well-known places.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} On the second day they went to the Empire State Building. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}From the top of the building, they saw most parts of New York. On the third day they visited the Metropolitan Museum.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} During the rest time of the week, Cathy went to Bronx Zoo with her younger brother and sister. There they were glad to see a lot of their favourite animals-tigers, lions, monkeys, and elephants.
