    Some students prefer to learn by themselves. They think they can learn better in this way because they have more freedom, pressure and independence. There is some truth in their way.

    It is better to have a teacher, especially when they learn something more difficult. First, a teacher can act as a guide to lead you to success. When you learn, you need help and advice. A teacher will give you a hand when you face difficulties.

    What is more, a teacher puts real pressure on you.  If you study by yourself,you must be strong-minded enough to keep on. But under the guidance of a teacher, you will feel there is always someone to watch you. The teacher may give you homework to do. You must complete the homework, or you will not pass the course.

    Last but not least, studying with a teacher will help you receive the benefit of the teacher's knowledge .They teach students how to learn and how to obtain information. They guide all of you in class to discuss the material and provide extra material to broaden the scope of the topic.

I choose to learn in a big family—my school. Without a teacher, I would feel there would be no fun and no pressure. I could not learn well in such dull and depressing circumstances.

    We all see and hear about extraordinary people around us and wonder why we can't be more like them. It's not the big things that make someone extraordinary. Here are some small things that extraordinary people do every day:

    ●{#blank#}1{#/blank#}That you're the boss doesn't mean you are right every time. Learn to back up your decisions with reason. Use logic(逻辑) to explain things, not authority. By doing this your decisions might invite criticism, but you will also get an opportunity to improve.

    ●They are generous with compliments(恭维). Remember the time, when you worked really hard but got nothing in return? Not even a thank- you. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} So every chance you get to praise someone, do it. A simple, “That was some great work, keep it up,” can go a long way in making the employees feel great about themselves. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}

    ●They are helpful. Never hesitate to help someone. It's fairly simple but it goes a long way. Don't say something vague(含糊)like, “Can I help you?” because they might just say, “No, I'm good.” {#blank#}4{#/blank#} “I had the same problem with this coffee machine in the morning. I think I have figured a way to make it work.” Offer in a way that feels mutually beneficial .

    ●They're in charge of their emotions. Sometimes it is very important to stay silent. Especially when you're angry, you don't want to end up saying things you didn't really mean to. So they take their time to think about what happened, and then come to a decision about how to deal with it. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Never be too casual with words or actions.

A. They are sensitive to others.

B. The key is to be specific.

C. A compliment can have a positive impact on their lives.

D. When you feel awkward receiving a compliment, give the person a smile.

Ways to Stop Worrying

    A little worrying now and then can be self-protective. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} But too much worrying can lead to many problems, such as reduced concentration, poor sleeping habits and the inability to handle everyday difficulties. What's more, it may also cause physical health problems, such as high blood pressure.

    Here are some tips to help you lighten up and enjoy life more.

1). Note down your worries

    Writing in a worry journal helps create some distance between you and your concerns. Write down your thoughts briefly every day, perhaps the first thing in the morning, before you start your regular routine. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

2). Pack away your worries

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Imagine tucking (塞) away your anxieties in a small box and closing the lid (盖子). Set aside some time each day to open the box and examine your worries, but otherwise, keep it closed.

3). Share your worries with a friend

    Don't be embarrassed. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Then, he or she may give you some practical suggestions. Telling someone your fears helps lift the burden of worry and gives your friends a chance to offer comforting thoughts.

4). {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    Select a quiet spot in your home where you can focus on your worries without being interrupted (打扰). Stay there every day for 10 to 20 minutes. Make sure you maintain a strict time limit and try to avoid worrying except when you're in your designated (指定的) “worry space”.

A. Create a personal worry space.

B. See worries from a different perspective.

C. Talk to your friend about your worries.

D. If journal writing isn't for you, create a “worry box” in your mind.

E. Spend about 15 minutes just writing and reflecting on what is bothering you.

F. Check with your local health centre about programs to stop worrying in your area.

G. Without anxiety you probably wouldn't lock your door at night or schedule your regular check-up.

The Feynman Technique(费曼学习法)is a powerful method that you can use to learn anything faster because it forces you to actively think about the problem instead of passively reading or listening to someone else talk about it. You can take the following five simple steps to study better.

·Find out the topic you want to learn. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Otherwise, you'll end up jumping between topics without developing a deeper understanding of any of them.

·Explain the topic as if teaching a sixth-grader. This step is the heart of the FeynmanTechnique—{#blank#}2{#/blank#}.This requires you to meet the child at their level of understanding by using the simplest way.

.Identify areas of improvement in your explanation. You'll need to critically(批判性地)review the explanation you cane up with in Step Two {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Try to find any knowledge gaps, together with any areas where you felt that you couldn't explain the topic simply.

·Improve and optimiez(优化) your explanation. Think about all the knowledge gaps and otherareas of improvement you found before. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}

· Repeat the steps until you've achieved mastery of the topic. Keep going through each step you're fully satisfied with your explanation.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}, and that is why going through all the prior snnjust once is usually not enough to achieve topic mastery.

A. Use those to improve your explanation

B. To do so, take a critical look at your explanation

C. Make sure that your explanation is interest-based

D. Your explanations need to be short and to the point

E. The Feynman Technique works best with a repeat

F. It's important that you clearly know the topics you're trying to learn

G. Explaining the topic simply enough to be understood by a sixth-grade student
