    Last Sunday I witness a traffic accident on my way home. I was wandering down the sidewalk while there went a loud crash. Two taxis crashed into each other about ten meters far away. I went up and found the two drivers bad injured, bleeding and trap in the taxis. Luckily, they were rescued on time because people came to help them and called an ambulance. As was clear that the taxi drivers were so eager take more passengers that they drove too fast. It reflected their lack of concern for the safe of both others and them.

    A recent survey shows that many students have got into some bad living habit，which do great harm to their health．

    First of all，eat a healthy breakfast is a great way to start the day．You should eat more fruit and vegetables，which are rich of vitamins．Secondly，getting enough sleep．Early to bed and early to rise make you feel great all day long．Lastly，take exercise every day to make your body strong．

Dear Bruce,

    I'm very excited to learn from that you will start an English magazine called New Babel. That sounds great and I definitely agree with you on that.

    Some of the columns mention in the letter are really my cup of tea. “Cultural Express” gives us better understanding of the world. Unless people from different parts of the world have different value, it's necessary to learn from each other. Apart from that, “Thoughts” is pretty good for us Chinese students to open our minds and practice their critical thinking. “Entertainment” is amazing! The stories about those popular celebrities are so attractively that we absolutely can't miss this part. As is often the case, teenagers were fond of popular things.

    Well, I can't list less. I really look forward to read this magazine.

    Growing up, I didn't have much ambition and I was wasted a lot of time on video games. One day, with no reason I picked up a book, that was about seven habits of highly successful teenagers. We don't remember much about the story, but one key concept what truly impressed me was the idea of time. The book stressed the importance of use our time wisely. I know it sounds crazily t but during that time I was aimless person. However, after I read that book, I made a decision to spend as many time as possible just reading. Believe it or not, I've made great progresses since.

    Studying in the UK have been a good experience for me. When I first arrived, I find life very hard as I didn't know anybody here, but I soon got to know other Chinese student at the university. Later I became interesting in communicating with people from various cultures, and I made fewer friends.

    During my study, I chose to live in with my classmates in the dormitory. I think it's better than living in British family because I can meet people from different countries easy. The courses here are excellent. I enjoy the way the teachers give lessons. We are encouraged to think for yourselves, which is quite different from that I have experienced before.

    It was a rain and cold night. I finish my evening classes and was about to go back to my house I got into a taxi and told the driver my destination. To my surprise, the driver made an apology, says he didn't know the way. What come a taxi driver didn't know the way? I was a little of angry. At the moment, an old couple stopped our car. Their destination was the same as me, so he let them in. The two greeted us but the grandpa told the driver the way. From their conversation I knew the driver was a fanner and he had become a taxi driver just for three days.

    I'm also new to Chengdu. Sometimes I make direction mistakes, but there is always someone can help me. It was cold outside, but I felt real warm.
