Our clothes can make us feel better about ourselves One way is wearing different colors of clothes.
Normally, when we are sad, we'll wear dark-colored clothes. But when we are happy, we often choose to wear bright-colored clothes. Because what we choose reflects(反映) how we are feeling. It shows that wearing special colors of clothes can change our feelings.
For example, when we are feeling sad, we may feel worse if we wear black. And if we wear green, red or yellow, we may begin to feel better.
It's said that each color has its own healing power(治疗作用). When we are wearing red, we should feel more energetic(充满活力的). When we are wearing green, we should feel more peaceful. When we are wearing black, we should feel safer.
So remember, if you are not feeling at your best, you can try out some different colored clothes. Maybe one color has no effect on your feelings, but another will.

Electronics: Electronics like mobile phones and digital games are NOT allowed at camp. These will be taken away and returned to the camper when the camp ends. Generally, campers get up at 7:00 am and have an early bird activity like swimming or fishing. After breakfast, there are activities until lunch. These may include environmental lessons or biology experiments. A wildlife biologist may guide the campers. After lunch, there are more activities, such as hiking, boating, or field trips. Preparations for an overnight hike or hunter education classes are other possibilities. Taking a night walk, star watching, playing games and listening to stories around a campfire are among the choices for the night. |
It is normal to feel a bit nervous about exams, especially if you're under pressure from school or family. Exam stress can cause you to feel nervous or depressed, and this might influence your sleeping or eating habits. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Here are some things you can do.
Open up to others
Firstly, let your trusted friends and family know if you're having a hard time. They can be there to support you, encourage you and offer good advice. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Keeping it all to yourself will only make things worse, so don't be afraid to open up.
Learn to get help
Secondly, think about all the practical support you need, and be honest with yourself about it. You are allowed to ask for help. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Tell your teachers about your worries. They may have talked to lots of students who are going through similar things. so they can give you some helpful advice.

One more thing you can do is to be proud of yourself. Think about all the things you have achieved so far. It can be helpful to write lots of things you like about yourself, and the things other people value about you, too.
