    Last weekend,after pay a visit to the city of New York,I visited the Smithsonian Institutions National Air and Space Museum,where lies in Washington,D.C.

    The museum,which covers a area of 18,000 square meters,is made of 24 exhibition halls.All kinds of planes, rockets,missiles and spaceship of great importance and variously old instruments that famous pilots and astronauts used are on display.In addition,I see copies of some satellites and aircraft.More interestingly,I tried operating on some aircraft by myself.During the visit,I took lots of pictures as well.

    This brief visit helped myself learn much about the history of human's space exploration.It made me more interesting in science and technology.

    My grandfather and I enjoy fishing.

    One Sunday morning we go fishing at a lake. We took ours fishing poles and headed for the lake. As soon as we arrived, so we dropped the lines into the water. Before waiting for about half an hour, I was beginning to get impatiently. I wanted to give up, and my grandfather told me to wait a little longer. Finally, there were a sudden pull at the pole and fish was caught. Within the next few minute, my grandfather also caught a fish.

    Felt hungry, we built a fire by the lake and barbecued the fish. It was delicious.

    Of all my teachers, Mr Smith is the one who impress me most. While he is in his 40s, he looks very young for his age. Compare with other teachers, he pays many attention to the way of teaching. He tries various way to make his classes lively and interested. In his opinion, we should not only know “what it is”, but to understand “why it is so”. He encourages us to think independently instead giving us the answer to a question immediate. Under his guidance, we've learned what to solve problems.     During my last summer holiday. I go to the countryside to enjoy myself. I saw mother bird stay in her nest in a big tree, watching some of her baby flying away. I thought she must be very proud of her children, that were able to find her own food now. But she might also feel a sense of loss because they wouldn't need of her day-to-day care any longer. For our parents, things are much easy. We have set up our family blog to posting our photos and journals. Once we leave for college, we can convenient share our experiences but support each other. Their "nest" will never be empty.
