How much do you know about Albert Einstein?

    Albert Einstein, born on March 14, 1879 in Germany, was a great scientist in the world. ①He was strange because he hated haircuts and new clothes. He believed in peace. All his life, he hated war. However, his most famous idea, E = mc², helped create the world's most dangerous weapon (武器). Many people think he was the smartest person in the world. But Einstein said that he thought like a child with many questions and unusual ideas.

    What did he like?

    Einstein liked learning sailing (帆船运动). He sailed in small boats all his life. He once joked, “Sailing is the sport that takes the least energy!” When Einstein was a child, his mother made him take violin lessons. At first, he didn't like the violin. But then he learned to love music and became a good violinist.

    Later, he said, “②热爱是最好的老师。”

    Why is the sky blue?

    In 1910, Einstein asked a question which many children often ask, “Why is the sky blue?” After his careful research, he answered the question like this: “It's because light is made up of many colors including blue. When light travels to Earth, gas particles (气体微粒) spread the blue light all over the sky.” His answer is true in physics.

    When we talked about the space, we know the universe means the earth, the sun, the moon, the stars and so on in space. Many of the stars are so far away that we can't see them.

This is one of the greatest events in the history of China's space.

    A traveler in South Africa once set out on a long journey. When crossing a wide plain(平原), far from home, he saw a lion at a distance. The lion saw him at the same time, and followed him slowly.

    When the traveler walked fast, the lion walked fast! When he stopped, the lion stopped! The man realized that the lion meant to follow him until the dark, and then attack(攻击) him.

    He was not able to run away from the lion because the lion ran faster than him. So he thought of a plan to fool it.

    He came to a large rock. He hid behind the rock, where the lion could not see him. Then taking a stick which he could find there, he put his coat and his hat on it, in order to make them look like a man. He then placed the stick with the coat and the hat standing in the ground above the rock. He then left quietly.

    The lion stopped and watched the coat and the hat, at a distance. At nightfall, it jumped onto the coat and the hat to try to kill the man.

    But the traveler was already far away. Before long, he reached his own home.

    As the Internet is developing fast, more and more new words and phrases have been created in Chinese. Here are some examples.

    One of the most popular words is Dianzan, which is often used when you quite agree with someone. Another example is Renxing. When you say somebody is Renxing, you mean that they will do whatever they like. The phrase Miaosha first came from online shopping, which means ou can complete your shopping orders before others. But now it's widely used when you achieve your purpose in a very short time. If you describe someone as a Tuhao, you mean that he or she is very rich.
