    Look at all the kinds of drinks on the table．There are milk tea, water, fruit juice，milk and fizzy drinks(碳酸饮料)．What should we drink? Coke，a kind of fizzy drink，tastes great，but it is really bad for your teeth and bones．It has a lot of sugar．Some drinks are good for us．Some are not．The doctors tell us to drink water and milk．Our body has lots of jobs and it needs water to do many of them．Milk is good for your eyes and bones．

    Amy's home is far from school. Every day she gets up early. First, she goes to the bus stop on foot at7: 10 a.m. Then she goes to the post office by bus. At last she goes to school on foot.

    There are four seasons ill a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. There are twelve months in a year, too. Three months make a season.

    Spring comes in March, April and May. It is warm and rainy. Plants grow and grow in spring. There are many beautiful flowers in the park. The leaves are green.

    Summer comes in June, July and August. It is hot and sunny. I can go to the beach. Many people like swimming in the sea.

    Autumn comes in September, October and November. It is cold and windy. The leaves are red, brown and yellow. They fall and fall.

    Winter comes in December, January and February. It is very cold and windy. I can hear the wind. It blows and blows.

    Bob Pearson is an old man. He has two big houses and a new car. He has no wife, but he is a father of four children. He has two sons and two daughters. One son is from England. His name is Bill. The other son is from America. His name is Mike. One of his daughters is from China. Her name is Lanlan. The other one is from Japan. Her name is Nikon.

    Bob Pearson is not the children's real father, but he loves them very much. The children love their "father", too. Bob Pearson has many toys for the children. He gives different toys to different children. The boys play with toy cars. The girls play with dolls and toy animals. Bob Pearson is the children's "father", and he is their good friend, too.

I'm Tom. Jim is my good friend. He's younger than me. But he's much taller. We usually do sports on the weekend. But last Saturday, he was at home and did homework. Because his mother had a cold. Jim cooked breakfast at 7:00. After breakfast, he washed the dishes and cleaned the room. In the afternoon, he took his mother to see the doctor. In the evening, he did homework. Jim was so tired. But his mother was very happy, "Jim, you're helpful. You're a good boy!"
