Today is the Lantern Festival(元宵节), a Chinese festival. I invite my grandparents to come to my home. My friends also come. We have yuanxiao for breakfast. It is very delicious. Then we go to watch the yangge dance on the square. How interesting! In the evening, we watch the beautiful lanterns (灯笼). Everyone has a nice day.

    Mr White lives in a tall building. He lives on the sixteenth floor. Every day，he takes a lift(电梯)up and down.

    One Saturday afternoon，he went shopping with his little son and bought many things. They drove back and carried all the things up to the lift. Suddenly they saw a piece of paper on the wall. It said，“Dear sirs，there's something wrong with the lift. Please use the stairs now. ” The son took a bag and ran upstairs quickly. But Mr White walked and walked.

    At last they stood in front of their door feeling very tired. Mr White began to look for the keys，but he could not find them. Suddenly he shouted in a loud voice，“Oh，no！I've left my keys in the car. ”

    On Sunday morning. The sun is shining. We have no classes. We are playing in the park. Some girls are singing and dancing under a big tree. Some boys are climbing the hill. Tom is drawing near the lake. Mike and John are swimming in the lake. Where are Betty and Mary? They are sitting under a small tree. They are reading a book. We are very happy.

    A young mother and her little girl got on a bus and sat down. The bus conductor(售票员) came to ask them to buy tickets. "I want one ticket to Children's Park," said the mother. The conductor looked at the little girl and said to her, "How old are you?" The girl answered, "Mother says I am six years old at home, but I'm four years old on the bus." The young mother's face turned red, very red. Then she bought a half-price ticket.

    Thirty years ago, my grandparents were young. They didn't wear glasses. Grandma was beautiful. She was a nurse. Grandpa was thin and tall. He was a teacher. He went to work by bike .He liked playing badminton.

    Now they are old. They wear glasses .Grandpa can't ride now.

    He often goes for a walk with Grandma after dinner.
