Tomorrow is June first. It's Children's Day. I am going to have a happy holiday. I am going to go to the library and read books. I am going to go to the park and take pictures with my friends. I am going to play computer games with my brother. I am going to help my mother make dinner. I am going to go shopping with my mother.

    It is Saturday morning. The sky is blue. My father and I are going to the park. There are a lot of people in the park. Some children are running on the grass. A dog is running after them. Some men are sitting on the grass. They are talking. Two girls are flying a nice kite. Three women are standing under a tree, and they are watching the children playing. There is a boat in the lake and two women are boating. Everyone in the park is very happy.

    Linda and Mary are good friends. They are both twelve years old now. Linda's birthday is on 9th September and Mary's birthday is on Teachers' Day. Their homes are both in Sunflower Estate(住宅区) but in different blocks(栋). Linda lives in Block 8 and Alice lives in Block11. They are classmates. They usually go to school together. They both like sports. But their favourite spots are different. Linda likes table tennis. Mary likes volleyball. Where are they now? Oh! They are playing basketball together in the playground now. How happy they are!

    It's warm today. We're in the park. It's a beautiful park. We can see trees. We can see some birds in the trees. They're singing. Look! Mary is reading. Tom is eating. Peter is playing football. Jim is painting. We're happy in the park.

    Last year, I went to the USA. It was great!

    I visited the Empire State Building(帝国大厦).

    It was the tallest building in the world from 1931 to late 1970.

    I saw the Statue of Liberty(自由女神像).

    I went inside the statue.

    I took a lot of pictures there.

    And I saw the White House.

    I bought some beautiful postcards.

    Then I went to the Wild Animal Park.

    I had dinner there. I was very happy!

    It was really a nice journey!
