One day, Mr Read and his son Robot were going out for a walk. He put on a pair of shoes together with a pair of different socks, one white and one yellow. As he came out of his house, his son noticed(注意) the colours of his father's socks and said,“You have put on two different socks, dad .”

    When he heard this , he looked at his socks and found that his son was right. He was happy and said to himself,“What a clever son I have got!” Then he asked his son to go back to the house to get another pair of socks for him.

    When the son went back to the house, all he could find was one white sock and one yellow sock. Robert then took the socks to his father and said, “It's no use changing! These socks at home are also different, one yellow and one white.”

    It is Saturday . The Browns are at home . Mrs Brown is in the kitchen . She's making apple pies . he pies she makes are very delicious . Mike: What do you usually do in the evening, Amy?

Amy: I usually do my homework and watch TV. Sometimes I play computer games.

Mike: What are you going to do this evening?

Amy: I'm going to read a comic book. What about you?

Mike: I'm going to play ping-pong.

Amy: Where are you going to play ping-pong?

Mike: At the gym.

Amy: At the gym? Where is it?

Mike: It's behind the hospital. It's new and very big.

Amy: Oh, it's far from your home. How do you get there?

Mike: Usually I get there by bike. But this evening, I'm going by taxi. It's rainy and windy.
