Tomorrow is the Dragon Boat Festival. In the morning, I will visit my grandparents with my father and mother. My grandma will make zongzi for us. I like sweet zongzi with Chinese dates (枣). My parents like salty (咸的) zongzi with meat. My grandpa will cook a big lunch for us. In the afternoon, I will watch the dragon boat races with my friends. What a nice day!

Mary： What are you doing in the garden, John?

John： I'm watering the flowers. My mother says we must water the flowers every day, or they will die (死).

Mary： But it's raining now.

John:  Oh, it doesn't matter. Mary, I have an umbrella.

    There are twenty students in my class. My parents are teachers here. My father is tall and handsome. My mother is thin and beautiful. They like working in school. They can speak English and Chinese. My father teaches English. My mother teaches Chinese.

Lucy: Will you go for a holiday in October?

Mary: Yes, I'll go to Beijing.

Lucy: Will you go by plane?

Mary: No, I won't.

Lucy: How will you go there?

Mary: By car.

Lucy: Will you go to see the Great Wall.

Mary: Yes, I will.

One fine Sunday morning, Robert would like to go fishing in a river nearby. He says goodbye to his mother and goes out. When he gets to the river, he finds some other boys there. They try to catch fish, but there are not a lot of fish in the river. Robert catches only one. Happily, he puts in into his jar with some water.

In the afternoon, he sees more fish in the river. Quickly he takes off his shoes and walks into the water. He put his nets into the river. But the fish swim away. When he gets back to the jar, he doesn't see the fish.

He gets home late with nothing in the jar. His mother asks him, "Do you have a good time?" Robert answers, "No, but the fish does."
