Are you sorry for not traveling during the National Day? If you stay a t home at that time, I think you are very lucky. Why? Because there are too many people everywhere. In many places of interest in China, it's too crowded to do anything.

It was very crowded in the West Lake on October 1st, 2013. You even couldn't take photos for you or your friends. All what we could see were people. It was reported that there were about 13 people per meter by the lake. My friends told me they could see nothing but many tourists(游客) on the Broken Bridge(断桥). "We couldn't walk if the people in front of us didn't walk," he said. He showed us a photo near the West Lake. In the photo, we hardly found him out, there were too many people.

So some people give the advice that we should not have the gold week(黄金周) any more. But other people say no about this advice. What's your idea of it? Are you sorry now for not traveling during the gold week? I love staying at home more than traveling next National Day.

Which Musical Instrument(乐器) Shall I Learn?

Many people would like to learn how to play a musical instrument, but they have one big problem: What to play? Ask yourself the following questions to help decide.

{#blank#}1{#/blank#} Many instruments have different uses, but some are better for certain kinds of music. That is to say, your favorite music may sound more beautiful on some instruments than others, so think about this before you start.

{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Think about your long-term future as a musician. If you want to play with other people, what kind of instrument would be the most useful? You might think of the violin. But if too many people have the same idea with you, will you still choose to learn it?

Where are you going to practice? Many people live in flats(公寓) practicing the drums, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Think about where and when you are going to practice, and the feelings of the people you live with or nearby.

How much money can you spend? This is quite a big thing. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} But this doesn't change the fact that many, such as the piano, are always very expensive. If you can't buy your favorite instrument, will you be able to borrow someone else's?

Still not sure? Talk to people you know who already play instruments. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} It's also a good idea to find a good music teacher who plays a few different instruments, and who can give you some advice and help you in the right way.

A. for example, it will make your neighbors angry.

B. Different instruments have different prices.

C. Do you want to play with other people?

D. They might even let you try theirs.

E. What kind of music do you like?

B. 请阅读下面短文, 根据语篇内容, 用方框中所给词的正确形式填空, 使短文通顺、连贯, 并将答案填在答题卡相应的位置上。方框中有两个词为多余项
