Grace wasn't a popular kid in her school. The girl, Ashley, was popular and had many friends. They were in the same class 1 didn't talk much.

During the summer school, the teacher asked them to 2 a project (项目) together. Ashley didn't like working with Grace at first, but she gave in. The reason was that her cool 3 were not in the class. However, when the project ended, they became good friends and Ashley introduced (介绍) Grace to the" cool girls". To fit in with 4 group, Grace followed them around and agreed with all their opinions. She began to do what Ashley liked.

In recent years, more and more farmers in China have moved to cities to work. Many of them leave their children behind in villages. These children are called left- behind ones. In China, there are more than 60 million left-behind children. It is about a third of the children in the countryside and almost a quarter of the country's children. 40% of them are under age 5. 

Left- behind children often face more problems than others. Safety is a big problem. Many children are too young to look after themselves. It is even sadder that some left- behind children die from drowning(溺水) or traffic accidents. 

Another problem is about psychological(心理的) health. Left-behind children are hungry for love. A report says that more than 16% of them think parents don't love them and over 80% always feel not safe. They are usually oversensitive(过度敏感的), and don't get along with others. 

Their education is also serious. According to a research, about 20% of left- behind children think they are not as good as others. Many are not interested in studying at school. They often don't do the homework and go to school late. Some children even take part in criminal(犯罪的) activities. 

To make left- behind children live a happy and healthy life, our government as well as many people has done a lot. Every one of us should give a hand to them.

{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(初级教育的) school was small and safe，like a {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(水塘). With the help of my parents，I went {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(穿过) that period of time healthily and happily. But junior high is {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(宽的) and hard，just like {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(起航) at sea. I may face all kinds of {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(问题). Dad and Mum will help and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(保护) me from the {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(风) and waves. But sometimes I still need to steer(驾驶) my boat by myself. 

No {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(疼痛)，no gain. Just keep going forward. I hope all of us can reach our goals.
