Romeo had been in a good mood all morning. He'd had a dream that he was about to receive some good news. He was lighthearted and he walked through the streets of Mantua feeling that his feet weren't touching the ground.

His dream was that Juliet had found him dead. And although it was a strange dream that allowed a dead man to think and feel, she had brought him back to life with her kisses and made him as happy as a king. He smiled as he walked. It just showed how wonderful the real thing was if even dreams about love could make you feel so good. Wasn't that his man, Balthasar, coming down the street? It was. It must be good news from Verona.

"Balthasar," he said. "Have you got a letter from the Friar? How's my wife? And my father? Is he alright?" Romeo did a little jig, dancing round his servant. "How's my Juliet? I'm asking that because if she's well then everything is wonderful. "

Balthasar said nothing. He stared at the ground, avoiding Romeo's eyes. Romeo stopped his dancing. Balthasar was crying.

"She's well. So nothing can be wrong," said Balthasar. He turned his back on Romeo and blurted, "Her body's sleeping in Capulet's tomb（坟墓） and her soul's among the angels."

Romeo felt cold, even in that terrible heat. His expression doubted his servant's statement. "I watched them putting her in the tomb their family vault," said Balthasar, "and then came straight to you." He saw the pain in Romeo's face and wished he could think of some way of comforting him.

"It can't be!" said Romeo at last. He turned away. "The stars are against us. But I won't give into them!" He turned back to Balthasar. "Go and get me some paper and ink and hire us some horses."

"I beg of you, sir," said Balthasar, "be careful. You're sad and I'm worried that something bad is going to happen." "You're wrong," said Romeo. "Just do as I tell you. Haven't you got a letter from the Friar?"

"No."

"It doesn't matter. Go and get the horses. I'll see you later."

My dream job is to become a professional (职业的) baseball player. I'm in the school baseball team now, but I'm not one of1 players in the team. However, playing baseball is something l like to do. Every day, I play baseball2 my teammates after school. I also join a baseball club. In3 club, I can learn a lot about baseball.

Last month, Li Ya had a seven-day vacation. His family planned a three-day trip to Beijing and Xi'an. They decided to go to Beijing by train first. 

On the first day morning, they took a bus for a tour of Tian'anmen Square. There were many visitors there. Then they paid a visit to the Palace Museum. It was great. For lunch, they ate some vegetables, beef and rice. After lunch, they visited the Summer Palace. They took a boat ride on Kunming Lake there. It was fun. In the evening, they ate Beijing Duck in Quanjude, a very famous restaurant. It was delicious. 

The next day they visited the Great Wall. When Li Ya was standing the Great Wall, he felt as if he was in ancient days. he could see many laborers (劳工) working very hard to build this wall. He wondered how they finished this extremely difficult work by hand.

On the third morning, they flew to Xi'an. They visited the Xi'an Circumvallation(西安城墙) and took quite a lot of photos there. They had mutton noodles for lunch. In the afternoon, they visited the Terracotta Army(兵马俑). Li Ya was surprised to know that each warrior of the Terracotta Army is about 1.8 meters tall, and none of them looks the same. In the evening, they enjoyed a wonderful dance show. 

Hi, I'm Mike. The new term will begin on1st September. On 12th September, we will have a football game in the afternoon. I'm a big football fan. I'm {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in it. I started playing football in {#blank#}2{#/blank#} school. Now I still play it{#blank#}3{#/blank#} with some of my old friends. In November, we will have an art festival and an English party. The art festival {#blank#}4{#/blank#} on 7th November, and we can watch some shows in our school. The English party is on 25th November. It's in {#blank#}5{#/blank#} classroom. It's a relaxing time for all of us.
