Our food is very important.We like eating it，and it makes us healthy.In most countries，people have three or four {#blank#}1{#/blank#} every day.Having food is like filling a car with petrol （汽油）.It gives us fuel （燃料） for the work we do.

The most important meal is breakfast.Doctors say that it is the beginning of a day and you can't work {#blank#}2{#/blank#} without it.You should eat a lot in the morning，eat well at noon，but you shouldn't eat too much at night.

Protein （蛋白质） is very important.It builds our bones and makes our muscles （肌肉）{#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

Meat，fish，chicken，and eggs give us protein.Beans and milk also have protein.

Vegetables and fruit are also very important.They give us vitamins and other chemicals.Vitamin C {#blank#}4{#/blank#} us fight disease. Without it, we {#blank#}5{#/blank#} sick.

Mr. Brown, a thirty-year-old young man, is our history teacher. He has short, black hair. His lessons are very interesting and we are all{#blank#}1{#/blank#} in them. In his lessons he often tells us stories and asks us to think about them. My uncle Peter is a farmer. He has a small garden. He plants things in spring, autumn and winter. After that he does very little work. He sits in the garden with his small radio（收音机）. And everything grows very well. People ask, "How does Peter grow these wonderful things? He only waters the plants sometimes. He just sits under an orange tree with his radio and listens to music all day."

 Hello! I'm Xiaohong. I study at No. 1 Primary School in Beijing. My school is very far. I often go to school by school bus. But sometimes I ride my bike to school. That's very cool,I think. I like sports. I always do morning exercises, no matter the weather is sunny or rainy. I often watch TV on Saturday evening. I like cartoon films and nature programmes. I never watch romantic films. I think romantic films are boring.
