There are some famous buildings in the world.Every one can recognize (认出）them with their imaginations. For example, when you see a picture of a1stadium like a bird's nest, you probably know it is the Olympic Stadium 2Beijing.

 In fact, you can recognize other buildings more 3The shaped of the building shows the things people can see inside. In Guizhou, China, people can visit the Meitan Tea Museum, built in the shaped of a big teapot. From far away, the teapot-shaped museum 4like some kind of huge work of art. But 5you get closer, the windows make it clear that this is a building.

 If you 6interested in guitars, you might want to visit the Guitar Museum in Tennessee, the USA. The building is shaped like a guitar. Inside, visitors can see all kinds of guitars and learn about famous guitar players.

 One of the 7funny-shaped museums is a pottery(陶器) museum on the ROK. This museum built in 2011, is shaped just like 8traditional pot of the ROK. Along with seeing examples of pots and tools used for making pots in the museum, visitors can try to make 9own pots there.

When I moved to America in the 7th grade, I did not speak any English. I had no choice but to keep working hard. Although I made1 when I reached the 9th grade, people still found it difficult to understand me because of my accent (口音).

 My two best friends and I were playing in the park near my house." Hey, look at that poster," Ollie shouted." The Harvest Fair sounds cool!"

" Yes! But S50 for a ticket?" said Marcya." That's a lot."

 After a while, we headed to my house. When we got home, Dad's friend Isaac came with six free tickets to the Harvest Fair. After Isaac left, Dad said," We have five people in our family. Wo'll have to find someone else who wants to go to the fair."

"I want to go!" said Mareya.

" So do I!" said Ollie.

 It took me one second to go from happy to awkward(尴尬的). Just then, my 80- year- old neighbour, Mrs Nish, came in."I just saw the poster. I love fairs! But tickets aren't cheap now."

 That's when Ollie got an idea. He quietly said something to Mareya, and Mareya told it to me, and I told it to my father.

" Well, we happen to have an extra(多余的) ticket to that fair! Would you like to join us?" my dad asked.

" Really?" Mrs Nish's face lit up." I'd like that very much!"

 Tho fair was fantasist. But the very best part was seeing Mrs Nish laughing. The next weekend, Ollie, Mareya, and I had our own Harvest Fair party at home. We played games and made a big pic while singing along to our favourite band Eagle Daze.

Mr. Stevens walked around the class handing out math books. Then he returned to the front of the class and looked at us. We stared (盯着看) back. "What are you waiting for? Get started!" he said. 

We looked at him, confused (困惑的). A student asked, "Mr. Stevens, aren't you going to teach us first?" Mr. Stevens replied, "You're smart kids. Open the book and get to it. If you have any questions, raise your hand, and I'll come to help you."

My friend Paul and I opened our books to the first page. A competition began. Paul and I spent all our free time at home working through the lessons. Mr. Stevens, true to his word, helped anyone who had a problem. It was not a normal way of teaching but it worked well. Paul and I worked like dogs and finished two and one half math books that first year. 

It was a turning point in my life. Mr. Stevens made me realize I was good at math and that I was able to reach the top of any class I attended. I kept learning that way all through my high school and university. 

I've carried Mr. Stevens' lesson with me all my life. Whenever I am faced with a new challenge, I think of the first math class of my junior high school. Instead of sitting around, I just get started. Then before I know it, the challenge has been dealt with.
