①What is doodling? It means drawing something in a simple unplanned way. You might draw a cartoon character on a wall. Perhaps you draw a picture when you are listening to music. It doesn't matter what you draw and there is no right or wrong way to do it.

②Doodling is relaxing because you don't have to make your creation perfect. Joe Whales, who is famous for doodling, says, "When I doodle, I feel I'm the happiest person in the world. I enjoy it because I can express(表达) myself freely—there are no rules in doodling."

③Another good thing about doodling is that it is easy to do. All you need is some paper and a pencil or pen.

④Doodling can also help people take in more information. A study found that those who doodled while listening to a long telephone message remembered more information than those who didn't.

⑤What's more, doodling can help people work out what makes them special. During a school visit, Cath Howe, a writer, asked pupils to draw some squiggles(弯弯曲曲的线条). Then they could fill in the spaces inside the squiggles with some words. The words described things they cared about, such as people, animals, food and hobbies. "The pupils really enjoyed doing it. Everyone doodled in their special way. I learned a lot about the pupils from it," Howe said.

Almost all of us have had a flag raising experience.Hold it，then raise it.It's so easy.But doing so on the moon can be really difficult. 

There is no air on the moon，which leads to the first problem with flag raising—there's no wind to keep the flag flying. 

In the earlier Chang'e missions，the national flag of China was painted on the surface of the moon landers and rovers（月球着陆器和月球车）.In the Chang'e-5 mission，a special flag display system was invented.Since the Chang'e-5 didn't carry an astronaut to the moon，the work had to be done by a robotic arm.Researchers worked hard to make the display system weigh only 1 kilogram. The material of the flag is also a big problem.Normal flags on the earth would be broken or even destroyed quickly on the moon because of the radiation from the sun and huge temperature differences during the day and night. 

It took the researchers more than a year to find the ideal material.It was developed by Professor Xu Weilin and his team from Wuhan Textile University.It could help the flag keep its color and shape in the environment on the surface of the moon.

My sister Lily likes love movies. She always watches them. Her favorite movie is The Twilight. I never watch love movies. I think they are boring. I like action movies best. They are exciting. Mom likes music programs. The band she likes best is the Jonas Brothers. I like it, too. I watch talent shows with mom every Friday. Dad only watches the news. He says it's very relaxing. He doesn't like other programs. My brother Bob likes western movies best. He thinks cowboys (牛仔) and horses are wonderful.

In China, people's living conditions in the cities have changed a lot in the ways of transport in the past fifty years. A survey shows that the number of people riding a bike or walking is always decreasing. In 1974, more than 50% of people travelled to work on their own bikes, while by 2014, less than 20% of travellers preferred cycling or walking to work. Now the number becomes much smaller. 

At the same time, there was a large increase in the use of cars. In 1974, very few people had a car. By 1994, about a quarter of travellers drove to work. This increased again, until 2014, about one third of travellers drove to work. 

 ▲  The main reason is that people's living conditions have changed greatly. With the increasing number of people going by bus or car, fewer and fewer people would like to be cyclists or walkers. 

As people enjoyed the convenience and speed of buses and cars, they are less likely to have patience and interest in cycling and walking. In the future, with the development of science and technology, more changes will happen in people's everyday lives. 

 The concept of dynamic pricing is simple— and easy for businesses to implement. Whether it's a Friday-evening fight, a hotel during the holidays, or a taxi ride in a storm, we have all been burned by higher-than-normal prices due to excess demand. Raising costs when businesses are busiest is the norm(常态) across the travel industry. Perhaps the most well-known example of this is within ride-share companies, which have used surge pricing(峰时定价) for years to charge riders when demand for cars increases rapidly compared to the number of drivers available.

 Outside travel, online stores are increasingly using this dynamic pricing, too, says Vomberg. "On Amazon.com alone, millions of price changes occur within a day, corresponding to (对应于) a price change of about every ten minutes for each product." While consumers might not always pick up on these little changes in price, Vomberg says time-based dynamic pricing will likely become a competitive standard at least in online markets. "AI-enabled tools can suggest the best prices via machine learning algorithms(算法). They can also track and learn competitor and customer responses to price changes," he says.

 Now, surge pricing is happening in stores including bars and supermarkets as well. "Physical businesses are adopting electronic shelf labels that enable real time price adjustment depending on the time of day, stock levels and whether items are approaching their sell-by date," says Sarwar Khawaja, chairman of the Oxford Education Group. He says this technology is likely to cause prices in bars that use these signs to increase during the rushes of dinner, weekends or holidays, or for supermarkets to adjust prices throughout the day or week, depending on the number of shoppers.

 The current economic climate is also driving the need for these pricing technologies. While creating competitive prices is always key to healthy profit margins(利润率), Khawaia says dynamic pricing enables businesses to optimize (使优化) their pricing depending on the financial situations of their customer base. "Businesses can offer discounts during downturns while increasing prices in better off areas," he says.

 The changes, however, may not sit well with consumers. "Dynamic and surge pricing will likely expand to more industries and more companies in the long term, but just because a product may be popular does not mean that customers are willing to turn a blind eye to being charged more," says Khawaja. He adds surge pricing can cause customers to lose faith in a company if they believe they are being overcharged. "Perhaps dynamic pricing of a drink in your favourite pub might be a step too far for loyal customers."
