Perhaps，you are a smart person with good knowledge and creative ideas，but when you move to a new environment or have to work with some new people

Be curious and be willing to learn new things and skills. Moving to a new working environment，you may need to deal with things that don't belong to your own field. In such a case，people who are more willing to learn new things can meet new requirements in their job. 

Have a good sense of judgment on important things. Learning or working in a new environment，you need to have a good sense of judgment when you join a discussion or make a decision. You should consider what is right，and look for long﹣term goals. 

Be confident when talking to people. When you go out and meet people，it is important to look confident. For example，if you are going to an interview，what can you do?Before you walk in，think to yourself，walk in holding your head high and smile. Remember to look other people in the eye—it's the key to creating a connection with people. Soon，you will feel as confident as you look. 

Set clear goals and learn. When working together with others，it is important that you have a clear goal and a working plan to achieve it. Let people know what you support. You need to find out which ideas can really unite people and then express those ideas clearly. Also，treat your team members respectfully as equals.

The weather in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres(半球) is different. It is fun {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (think) that when it is cold in one place, it is hot in another. The Earth's tilt(地球轴线) is the reason for the different {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (season). This means that while one hemisphere is tilted(倾斜) towards {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Sun, the other is tilted away from it.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} it's winter in the North, it's summer in the South. Students in the Southern Hemisphere look forward to {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(sperd) summer vacation at the beach, while those in the Northern Hemisphere enjoy building snowmen during {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (they) winter holidays.

There {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (be) holidays in both hemispheres, but the weather makes them different. For example, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} special nights like New Year's Eve, people all over the world get together. Because of the different weather, fireworks might go off over {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (snow) places or near the beach, making each {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (celebrate) special.

Are these records boring? Of course not. It is a wonderful book and it has world records for everyday things. For example, the largest picnic blanket(野餐毯) is 1, 760 square meters. The heaviest lemon is 5, 265 kilograms. The smallest working dog is about 3 pounds, and it is only a little heavier than twelve eggs. 

There are some funny records as well. A T-shirt was made to set a record. It's about a hundred times bigger than an usual T-shirt and it took almost 11, 000 hours to make it by hand. The most people for watching a basketball game is 3, 589 million(百万) for NBA in 1998. 

Guinness Book of World Records is so interesting that it is a hit among the best-sellers. There are over 100 million copies(册) around the world. If you want to take a look at it, get one and find out those surprising records！

 Many students have already had clear ideas about what jobs they would like to have in the future. We believe boys' choices are different from girls'. To find out how different their choices are, we made a survey in Green High School. The following diagram shows the results of the survey.
