At the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, people cheered when China's Tong Xin finished her taijijian moves. On Sept 24, she won the women's raijiquan and taijijian all-round gold. The Asian Games have more events than the Olympic Games. These events, like raijijian, are from different countries and cultures across Asia. This makes the Asian Games interesting. Here are some of the special sports.

It's no secret that there is a space problem in Manhattan. People build up higher and higher buildings because there isn't much land left and there is no room to build out. So people have been building lots of tall and thin buildings. Developers are trying to build higher and higher buildings. However, the government has made laws that don't allow developers to build too high buildings. 

Oiio Studio thinks about things differently, "What if our buildings were not tall but long?" So the founder of Oiio Studio, Ioannis Oikonomou, designed a U-shaped building, the Big Bend. It would be a very thin building. It would curve(弯曲) at the top and return to the ground. Oikonomou said he thought of the great idea because he learned from a piece of news. It said that a company made a lift that could travel in curves. So he designed the Big Bend. He thought it as "the longest building in the world". It would be 4, 000 feet from end to end and would need a different lift system. 

"We can't change the law, ▲____. So if we can bend( 使 弯 曲 ) our building, we would be able to build one of the most amazing buildings in Manhattan, "Oiio Studio said. 

The Big Bend is just an idea for now. Oikonomou has sent the plans to a few companies, and is looking for developers. If successful, they will build the Big Bend around West 57th Street, just to the south of Central Park.

It is easy to find delicious food in London.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Here it is possible to taste food from all over the world. You can also try traditional British food such as fish and chips. 

Weather in London

Does it always rain in London? Not really. Sometimes it rains, and sometimes it's sunny and beautiful.{#blank#}3{#/blank#} In fact, local people carry both sunglasses and an umbrella with them throughout the year. 

Attractions (景点) in London

There are many famous attractions in London such as the London Eye, the Tower of London and the Science Museum. You can take a double- decker bus (双层巴士). {#blank#}4{#/blank#} The bus usually stops near most tourist attractions. You can get off the bus at any stop. Outside the city there is beautiful countryside and a lot of castles, parks and gardens.

A student asked his teacher, "Sir, I have a question. How many friends should a man have, one or many?"

"It is very easy, " the teacher answered. "Get me that red apple from the highest(最高的) branch(树枝) of the tree. " The student looked up and said, "It's too high! I can't get it."

"Ask a friend to help. " the teacher said.

 The student called a friend and stood on his shoulders(肩膀) for the branch. "I still can't get it, Sir, " said the student sadly after the first try.

"Don't you have more friends? " the teacher smiled. The student asked more friends to come over. They stood on each other's shoulders, trying to make a pyramid(金字塔) to get higher. But the student still couldn't get the apple. Then one of the friends went home, brought a ladder(梯子) and the student finally got the apple.

 After getting the apple, the teacher asked, "So, do you know how many friends a man needs?"

"I do," the student said. "Many, so together we can work out any problem."

"Sounds good, " the teacher said. "You need as many friends as you can. Among( 在······之中) them, there will be at least(至少) one clever man. He can think of a good idea, like getting a ladder!"
