My name is Andy. My best friends are John {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Ann. John {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (live) near my house and we are in {#blank#}3{#/blank#} same class. He's tall and thin, and he {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (have) blond hair and blue eyes. He is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (friend) and very clever. His parents are always strict {#blank#}6{#/blank#} him. John usually wears jeans and a blue T-shirt.

Ann is short and thin. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (she) hair is long and straight. She usually wears a pair of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} ( glass ). I like Ann because she's {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (real) kind. She wants to be a {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (sing) when she grows up(长大).

Last night one of my Chinese friends took me to a concert of Chinese folk music. The piece which was played on the erhu especially moved me. The music was strangely beautiful ，but under the beauty I sensed a strong sadness and pain. The piece had a simple name，Erquan Yingyue （Moon Reflected on Second Spring），and I began to understand the sadness in the music. 

The music was written by Abing，a folk musician who was born in the city of Wuxi in 1893. His mother died when he was very young. Abing's father taught him to play many musical instruments，such as the drums，and in the year of 1910，Abing was known for his musical ability. However，Abing's life grew worse. He was very poor. Not only that，he developed a serious illness and became blind. For several years，he continued to sing and play on the streets. He performed in this way for many years. 

Abing's amazing musical skills made him very popular during his lifetime. By the end of his life，he could play over 600 pieces of music. Many of these were written by Abing himself. It is a pity that only six pieces of music in total were recorded for the future world to hear，but his popularity continues to this day. Today（伤口） from their own sad or painful experiences. 

Peter's uncle {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (live) in a countryside. He has {#blank#}2{#/blank#} excellent farm. Last year Peter went to stay with him for a few {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (week). Sometimes they {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (take) a walk along the road. Sometimes they drove in a car. When they were walking or {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (drive), they met many people. His uncle always waved (挥手). Peter was {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (interest) in it. He said, "Uncle George, you know everyone here. How do you know them all?"

"I don't know all {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (this) people," said his uncle. "Then why did you wave to them?" asked Peter. "Well, Peter," answered his uncle. "When I wave to someone, he knows me and sometimes we can talk {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (happy). {#blank#}9{#/blank#} when I wave to someone and he doesn't know me, he will say to himself, Who is that man? Why did he wave to me? So he thinks about something on the way. That makes {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (he) way shorter."

Everyone wants to have a strong body . Do you have a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} lifestyle? I think I do. 

I have many good eating and living habits. I prefer to eat fruit and vegetables. The doctor says everyone {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to get enough nutrition(营养 ). And I avoid smoking and drinking hot or cold water. I think they may {#blank#}3{#/blank#} my body. In addition, I try to sleep eight hours every day. That makes me get more {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the next day. And I can study better and get better marks. What's more, I do some {#blank#}5{#/blank#} exercise every day. It says that if people run every day, they will have stronger hearts than others. So I run for about thirty minutes every morning.

My name is Lily. I've always wanted to be a radio presenter. I read many passages about  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to become a radio presenter. I {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(write) to Alice, a famous presenter in our country for some advice. When she received my letter, she invited me to visit the radio station. 

First, she showed me {#blank#}3{#/blank#} their office. Everyone was busy working. When we passed by the door, we tried our best to avoid {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(make) any noise. Alice told me that they usually reported  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(nation) news. The purpose (目的) was to tell people {#blank#}6{#/blank#} was happening in the nation.
