The Water Dragon Festival of Luodai has been celebrated for many years in Loodai Ancient Town in Chengdu. There is Hakka dragon dance in Luodai every year. 

There is a story about Luodai. In the Three Kingdoms period (三国时期). Liu Adou accidentally dropped his jade belt (玉带) into a well (井) in the town. Adou asked his servant to pick the jade belt from the well. Surprisingly, it began to rain when the servant was looking for the belt in the well. It stopped raining when he stopped that. Finally, the town was called Luodai. 

The Hakka connected the dragon dance with the story to wish for rain in Luodai. Then the Hakka danced water dragon and washed the well to thank god for rain and harvest(丰收) every year. It has become a tradition in Luodai. 

The Water Dragon Festival usually starts from the end of July to the end of August. During the time, there will be many kinds of water dragon activities every weekend. The dragon dance usually starts at two o'clock in the afternoon and lasts for about two hours. The dragon dance of the Liu family is the most famous one. The water dragon flies up and down in the streets. People splash(泼洒) water on the dragon dancers. People play with water together happily. Adults, children, Chinese, foreigners, men and women splash water on each other. Hakkas regard water as good luck and they splash water on others to wish others good luck. Laughter is everything. 

The 14^th China Airshow was held from November 8^th to 13^th in Zhuhai. More than 42 countries took part in the show, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and many other countries. Among the different models of airplanes, the J-20 Drone（无人机）took many people's breath away.

The drone is one of the greatest inventions in recent years. A drone is light and portable, which makes it possible to be put in a backpack easily.

Some small drones are widely used for taking photos and putting on light shows. Other larger drones are used to carry things to far places in a smart way. For example, Mei Tuan Takeout（美团外卖）uses drones to send food or packages to people's offices in Shenzhen. The delivery time has been greatly cut down. Drones can be also set to finish tasks for farmers. They can spray pesticide and check whether the crops are growing well at different time of a day. So, a farmer can look after land five time larger than that before. Scientists are also using underwater drones to get information on CO₂ levels in the ocean. It's the newest way to study the ocean's condition and improve（改进）its environment.

The "four new great inventions" are not the only "Made in China" products to be welcomed in foreign countries. China plays a more and more important role in the world. 

Today our class visited the Museum of Natural History. We went to see the 1  show. At first, I wasn't 2  in see ing dinosaur skeletons(恐龙骨骼). Why would anyone want to 3  about something that's not around any more?

First we 4  a big room. I saw the skeleton of a large animal. It almost 5  the room. Two huge, dark holes 6  its head looked at me. It was Dinosaur Sue. 

Our guide told us 7  about Sue. He told us to look at her 8 . Sue had 60 teeth. Her teeth were long and sharp. One tooth looked as 9  as my school ruler. The guide said the dinosaur's teeth showed that she was a meat eater. 

As I looked at it, I wondered 10  the dinosaur had looked like when it was alive. No one knows what 11  dinosaurs were, but I pictured it as brownish grey. I could see it going through the grass and trees searching for food. 

Suddenly I realised that the skeleton had 12  belonged(属于) to a living animal that used to live on the earth. It made me think about other 13 . Then, in some ways, I 14  why people wanted to learn about these animals. 15  would be very exciting to find a dinosaur skeleton. 

①Giethoorn is a magical village in northern Netherlands. It's so fantastic that some people have a hard time believing it's real. Although the small village has no roads or cars, it has plenty of boats!

②Giethoorn's most noticeable feature(特色) is its canals(运河). They serve as the village's roads. With the feature, it gets another name" Dutch Venice". Local people get around by boat or bicycle, and if they have cars, they have to park them outside the village. Boats are certainly the most important ways of transportation(运输). Bridges connect most homes and businesses, but some houses can only be reached by water. That's why postmen have to send mails by boat. 

③The second thing that visitors notice is the quiet. With a population of just over 2, 700 and without any noisy traffic, the village is what many people call a quiet oasis(绿洲). "In Netherlands'water village, the loudest sound you can normally hear is the sound of a duck or the noise made by birds, " a villager there said. 

④But that isn't to say the village is not a popular place. In fact, it has become a place of interest, offering comfortable hotels and delicious meals at waterside restaurants. 

⑤With all those wonderful views, Giethoorn is a perfect place for holiday. Would you go there if you had a chance? Visiting Giethoorn is certainly on many persons'tour list. We only have one question: When can we order the air ticket to Netherlands?
