A Queensland teen has cut her beautiful 

1.2m-long ponytail(马尾辫) for the first time in her life. She wants to 1 others suffering from cancer (癌症) in memory of her grandmother.

Yasmine Brockhurst, 14,2 her long hair to Donate a Ponytail to help create wigs (假发).These wigs are3 for cancer patients experiencing hair loss during their treatment.

Carole Haddad is a hairdresser and4 is also a cancer fundraiser (筹款者) herself, She received the important5 of cutting off half of Yasmine's hair.

Yasmine is also raising money for cancer research. She said she was6 that money would go to cancer research, after the 7 of her grandmother from multiple(多种的) cancers.

"For my grandmother, the doctors didn't know what was8 the different cancers and how they were related (相关的), so I9 to get some money to help with cancer research. I've 10 raised $1,070."

Yasmine's hair was very 11 . She used to need an hour to 12 her hair, six hours to air-dry it and half an hour to make a ponytail. At that time, Yasmine was 13 for a baseball team.14 she loved her hair, she said it had affected (影响) her performance on the field.

Yasmine still misses her ponytail 15 time to time. But she knows what she did is meaningful and she is happy about it.

This film is very different from traditional Chinese cartoons. Traditional Chinese cartoons often have to do with Chinese fairy tales(童话故事) or legends. But this film looks at real life. It tells us how a left-behind boy faces up to his hard life. Although life isn't perfect or easy, Ah Juan never loses hope. At the same time, there are many scenes of traditional lion dances in the film. They show this kind of traditional Chinese culture to more people.
