It is a sunny morning. Alex goes to the park. He likes {#blank#}1{#/blank#}on the grass to read books in the park. When he reads, he {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a sound, "Wait! Please don't sit on me. It will hurt me." It is a little ant. Alex says to the ant, "Don't{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. I won't sit on you." The ant thanks him.

One day, it is raining. Alex is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in the mud in the park. He is afraid. Then he finds some ants say, "Let us help you! Take a breath and count to ten." The ant and all of its friends are strong. They {#blank#}5{#/blank#}Alex out of the mud.

Alex and the ants become friends and they are happy!

This is my new friend. His name is Nail. He is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} . He is very {#blank#}2{#/blank#} . He helps me clean the desk and floor after the activity. He has a yellow {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  and brown{#blank#}4{#/blank#} . He has {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  in his schoolbag.

On Saturday morning, everyone is happy but Tom is sad. He sits and says"Too bad! It's a nice day. But I have to paint the fence(栅栏)."Suddenly(忽然), he has a good idea.

Tom's friend Ben comes and eats an apple.He says"Tom, I'm going swimming, but you're working."

"I can go swimming every day, but I can't paint the fence every day. I like it!"Tom says.

Ben is surprised(吃惊的). He wants to paint too."Tom, let me paint a little,"Ben says.

"I'm really sorry. It's my work,"Tom says.

"Oh, Tom. Let me try, please!"says Ben."Here, you can eat my apple."

Tom is happy."Fine. Ben, you can paint for a short time."

Then Tom's other friends come. They all want to try. They give Tom a new kite, a cat, a key and more. Tom's friends paint. Tom sits and thinks,"When something is difficult(困难的) to get, everyone wants it."

Mary sees John in the garden(花园). So she asks, "What are you doing?""I am watering the flowers. My mother says we must water the flowers every day, or(否则) they will die(死)," says John. "But it's raining now.""Oh, it doesn't matter now. Mary, I have an umbrella(伞)."

I'm Fangfang. I live in a village. It's small but beautiful. Look! That is my home. There are some trees near it. Behind the house there's a big river. You can see some boats on the river. Many ducks beside the boats. How lovely! Oh, many flowers are between the trees. Let's get some to our teachers.
