There is a zoo in my town. I often go there with my parents by 1 on the weekend. It usually takes my father about 2 minutes to drive there. We often leave home at about eight and 3 there at about twenty past eight.

    I like many kinds of animals, but I like  4 best. First, they are very cute. Second, they are friendly, and they are one of China's 5. but now pandas are in great danger, so we must  6 them.

    Now, I'm watching the two pandas in the zoo. I  7 want to go near and play with them. 8 I also want to give them some food. But 9 the rules in the zoo: 1. Don't go near tothe animals. 2. Don't give10 to the animals.

Sometimes, people use some other {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(difference) kinds of expressions. They sound like invitations, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} they are not real invitations. For example: "Please come over for a drink sometime." "Why don't you come over and see us sometime soon?"

{#blank#}7{#/blank#} fact, these are not real invitations because they don't have a specific time or date. They just show that the person {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(be) trying to be friendly, and he or she would like {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(finish) a dialogue in a polite way. When people reply to expressions like these, they just say, "Sure, that would be great." or "OK, thanks." So next time you hear something like an invitation, listen {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(careful) to make sure if it is a real invitation or the person is just being friendly to you.

Everyone knows that exercise is important. We all need to exercise. Doctors say it's good for us. It keeps body strong. 

When the daytime comes, we must get up. This is the time for exercise. Exercise means doing sports or other physical activities to stay healthy. There're many ways to exercise. You can walk, run, swim, skate or play ball games. Make sure you exercise in the following ways:You should like what you're doing. Exercise enough but not too much. It's good to exercise twice each week. Thirty minutes each time is enough. Try all kinds of things until you find one, two or three sports that you feel right for you. 

Exercising can be fun. Friends can exercise together at a fitness center, or they can play sports together. How do you exercise?

 Heilongjiang Province is in the northcast of China. Its capital city Harbin is one of{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (large) cities with a long history and colorful culture. On December 7th,2023, the city held an Ice and Snow Festival. It brought in millions of {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (tourist) around the world to come to the city.

 Pcople in Qing Dynasty first came up {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the idea of Icc and Snow Festival because of Icc Lantern(灯笼) Festival. They often made ice lanterns by {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (they). During the winter months, people{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (simple) used ice lanterns as lights in everyday life. They kept this helpful habit from then on.

I'm so excited about the coming trip that it's difficult for me to {#blank#}5{#/blank#} these days, especially when I think of the exciting rock, fresh air and soft grass.

 Soy sauce was invented by the Chinese over 2,000 years ago and is still used in Chinese cooking every day. Nowadays people don't give much thought to the traditional way of making soy sauce, as they mostly buy the soy sauce produced in modern chemical methods.

 Little known to the outside world, a century-old factory in Xianshi town, Luzhou city, Sichuan, still uses the natural method to produce soy sauce. It simply puts the soybean mixture in big jars under the sun. It takes up to three years to complete. Since 1893, the company has been making soy sauce for more than 130 years.

 Water, salt and soybeans are needed to make soy sauce. Natural bacteria(菌群) and old jars make it taste better. The process (工序) allows the beans to naturally produce oil, making a full taste. It is the most special thing of this soy sauce. The factory can only produce about 2,000 jars of soy sauce every year. Also, it takes over ten times longer to finish the whole process in this traditional way. As a result, the factory has faced many ups and downs.

 Luckily, the traditional method of making soy sauce in this factory became an intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产) in Sichuan province in 2007, and was an intangible cultural heritage of China in 2014. "I had the idea to give it up, but I usually said to myself that good things never come easy, just like our soy sauce." the factory owner said.
