Hello. My name is Liu Mei. I'm from Fuzhou. I'm in No.1 Junior High School. I'm in Class Seven, Grade Seven. My mother {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(work) in No.1 Junior High School. She teaches Chinese. My father is a {#blank#}2{#/blank#}[ˈdɒktə(r)] in a hospital.

    On Sunday, my mother and I often do {#blank#}3{#/blank#} shopping. My mother likes shopping a lot. We will go shopping this Sunday afternoon. My mother says she will buy a red coat {#blank#}4{#/blank#} me. But I don't like red. I want a{#blank#}5{#/blank#}[pɪŋk] one. My mother says yes to me, I'm happy.

    My father doesn't like shopping at {#blank#}6{#/blank#} His favorite animal is monkeys. He often take

    {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(I) to the zoo. In the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} I can see monkeys, elephants, lions and tigers. The monkeys are very cute and clever. The lions and tigers are {#blank#}9{#/blank#}[strɒŋ]. The elephants have long noses. They are very kind. This Sunday my father will go to the zoo with me.

    I love my{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(parent) very much. They love me, too. I have a happy family.

Cindy studies in a middle school. When Cindy first came to the new school, she felt very lonely (孤独的), because she had few friends. She wanted to make some friends with the same hobbies as her, but it was too hard. She was new and shy, and she was afraid to talk with them. After a week, her teacher Mr Green asked Cindy to sit next to Jenny. But she was unhappy because Jenny was too noisy, too outgoing (外向的) and she acted like a boy. And sometimes she was very rude (粗鲁的) to her classmates. Cindy was very worried. "Jenny will not be my friend. We are so different," she said to herself.

However, as time went by, Cindy became more outgoing because of Jenny. In fact, Jenny is really lovely and helpful. They are different, but they help each other and they become good friends. Cindy has made a lot of friends because of Jenny. She's really happy. 

Now, Jenny is studying in a new school. Cindy really misses her. "It's not important to be the same as your friends. Good friends share happiness and sadness," said Cindy.

My sister and I are very different.When people meet us both, they are always surprised to learn that we are sisters. This is because we don't look like each other, we have different personalities（性格），and our lifestyles are different.

Do you resemble your brother or sister? My sister and I don't resemble each other at all.I am tall, but she is very short. I have short dark brown hair and green eyes.She has long blonde hair and blue eyes. I am strong, but she is not. I have big hands and feet; her feet and hands are very small.

When we were kids, she was thin, but I was heavy.Now we're both heavy.

We also have opposite personalities.She is always stressed out. I am calmer and more out—going.She is very worried about what other people think and say about her, but I really don't care. When she has a problem, she just worries about it, but when I have a problem, I try to fix（解决）it.She easily gets angry， especially with our mother. But I—am more patient.

Our lifestyles are very different. I love old things and hardly ever go shopping.But she goes shopping twice or more a week. I have cats.She has a dog. I read.She watches TV.
