Most of us have experienced unforgettable moments in our lives. The moment that I will never forget happened when I was fifteen.

For the first fifteen years of my life, I was the only child in my family. I didn't have any siblings. Luckily, I had always had my parents, who loved and cared about me a lot. They helped solve any problems I met and they did everything for me. What I had never really thought about was that, someday, one of them would no longer be there for me.

One day, I found out that my mother was pregnant(怀孕的), and it was big news in my family. Everyone was excited and happy, especially me. I imagined that I would have a baby brother, and I thought about playing and having fun with him. One day after school, when I ran to the hospital, my brother had already been born. But my mother was still inside the operating room, while my father waited worriedly outside. After waiting for a long time, the doctor came out and told us that they had stopped the bleeding(流血). He told us not to worry and my mother would be fine.

Many thoughts flashed through my mind. I could only imagine that my life would be full of darkness, sadness and hopelessness. I would never again have the chance to enjoy the love of my mother. During these fifteen years, my mother was always around like my dearest friend, watching over me, no matter what happened. I could not imagine how I was possibly going to live without her.

Today, my brother is almost two years old. On the day of his birthday, I always remember

this unforgettable event in my life. I think I'm a really lucky person, with great parents and a lovely brother.

One day, Tony met his friend, Alan, in the street. Tony was quite rich, but Alan was poor, The two boys walked along the street together. 

They talked about many things. Tony liked to listen to music and he told Alan about some new songs. Alan liked reading, and he told Tony about some new books. 

They had the same friends, and they talked about these, too. Then Tony remembered something. "I lent you ten dollars last week. "he said. "Can you give it back to me?"

"I'm very sorry, Tony. " Alan said. "I forgot about it. "

 He thought about this money for a minute. 

 Then he said, "I haven't got any money with me today. I'll pay you back tomorrow. "

"All right. "Tony said, "I can wait another day. "

 At that moment a man ran up. He had a knife in his hand. Alan and Tony were afraid, 

"Give me your money. " he said to Tony. 

 Tony took out his wallet(钱包)and gave it to the thief(贼，小偷). 

 The thief took out the money and threw the wallet on to the ground. 

"Now you give me your money. " he said to Alan. 

Alan thought quickly. He took out his wallet, but he did not give it to the thief. He gave it to Tony and said, "I will return(欠)you some money, Tony. Here it is. "

It's always a happy moment when you get some pocket money. But have you ever thought about how to spend your pocket money wisely？Here is some advice. 

Make a list. 

When you get your pocket money，don't get too excited. We all have a lot of things that we want. But do you really need them？That's why it is necessary to make a list before you spend money. Start with the thing you want most. You can also write down how much it costs or how important it is in your life. By doing this，you will see if it is really necessary to buy it. 

Help others. 

How about being more selfless （无私的） and using your pocket money to help others？We all know that there are many people in the world who are in need of our help. Helping others brings out the best in us and is one of the greatest joys（乐事） in our lives. So consider using your pocket money to do something useful and helpful，and feel how you can make a difference

Save as much as you can. 

There is an old saying that"Money doesn't grow on trees. "If you spend all your pocket money right away，you'll have no money until your next"pay day". A wallet sometimes might not be the best place to save money because it may make it easier for you to spend your money. Get a piggy bank （储蓄罐） or ask your parents to start a savings account （账户） for you. Someday when you look back，you'll get a strong feeling of achievement by saving so much money by yourself!

Cindy studies in a middle school. When Cindy first came to the new school, she felt very lonely (孤独的), because she had few friends. She wanted to make some friends with the same hobbies as her, but it was too hard. She was new and shy, and she was afraid to talk with them. After a week, her teacher Mr Green asked Cindy to sit next to Jenny. But she was unhappy because Jenny was too noisy, too outgoing (外向的) and she acted like a boy. And sometimes she was very rude (粗鲁的) to her classmates. Cindy was very worried. "Jenny will not be my friend. We are so different," she said to herself.

However, as time went by, Cindy became more outgoing because of Jenny. In fact, Jenny is really lovely and helpful. They are different, but they help each other and they become good friends. Cindy has made a lot of friends because of Jenny. She's really happy. 

Now, Jenny is studying in a new school. Cindy really misses her. "It's not important to be the same as your friends. Good friends share happiness and sadness," said Cindy.
