I am David. My home town, Bao Loc, is just a small town in Vietnam (越南). But for me, it's really a paradise (天堂). 

The weather is very comfortable. It's not very hot or cold. In the centre of the town, there is a beautiful lake. You can lie on the bank (河岸) and see the white clouds in the blue sky or count (数) the stars at night. You can go there just to relax when you have a lot of things to think about. One of the most famous places is Dambri Waterfall (瀑布). You can enjoy this beautiful waterfall if you come. Don't forget to take some pictures with your camera. 

Bao Loc is very small. It will take you 45 minutes or 1 hour to go around this town. It's so small that people here know each other. They are very friendly. 

Tea and coffee are Bao Loc's local food. I think you will like them very much. 

Why does Bao Loc become a paradise? Because my family are here and they always make me feel warm and safe.

Diana Armstrong, from the US, has broken the Guinness World Records for the world's longest nails (指甲).

She shared in an interview that she has no1 to cut her nails. That is the last connection she has to her elde daughter. Her elder daughter did her nails the night before she 2 unexpectedly in her sleep at the age of 16.

Diana said, "I have been 3 my nails for 25years. I had a(n) 4 time when my elder daughter left me forever. She was the only one who did my nails,5 I couldn't cut them off after that."

Diana's younger daughter, Raina, also talked about 6 she thought of her mother's nails. She said, "When she told us the back story was because of my sister, it 7 my mind towards it because, just as much as she 8 my sister, I did, too. So if that's her9 of remembering her, then I can accept."

It's quite 10 to keep the maintenance (保养) of the nails. She always has to depend on her children and grandchildren for help and 11 uses her feet when she can. But she has also gotten used to using her hands 12 breaking her nails.

Diana has not been able to live a completely normal life because she is13 that people would judge(评价) her when they see her nails. However, the recognition (认可) from Guinness World Records has made a 14 to her and given her the confidence to share her story.

"These nails are always a part of me just because of my elder daughter. I always keep15 close to me this way," said Diana.

Xu Yuanchong was a great teacher at Beijing University. He is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} for his translations （翻译）. He translated both Chinese and Western books.

Xu {#blank#}2{#/blank#} born in 1921 in Nanchang, Jiangxi province. In 1938, he went to university to study English. There he {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the love for his whole life — translation. Xu started his career （职业）in 1958 by translating poems, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} most of his works came out after 1983．He believed that keeping the beauty and feeling of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} was important. He spent a lot of time {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Chinese and Western cultures together through his translations.

In 2010, Xu got a special award（奖）for his life's work in translating. This was the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} time for a Chinese translator to win it. Xu's works are {#blank#}8{#/blank#} good to read.

Xu kept on translating till the end of his life. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} works are just like a bridge to help people understand different cultures. Xu Yuanchong died {#blank#}10{#/blank#} the age of 100．We will always remember this great man in our heart.
