I live in Taipa, a community (社区) in Macau (澳门). My house in Taipa is very good. There are two large stores, a bank and a post office in the community. And there are a lot of great restaurants. The Sichuan restaurant is my favourite. I can get a bowl (碗) of noodles with chicken for about ten yuan in that restaurant. There is a park with a small river, gardens and trees near my house. It's very beautiful. I go running in the park every morning.

I wasn't in Macau in 2012. I was in Hong Kong at that time. My apartment (公寓) in Hong Kong was quite small. The apartment was on a busy street. There were many cars on the street. And there was no supermarket near my home. And the people there were very busy. I don't like to live in that place.

I am happy with my new house.

After a 10-year project to count tuna and other large fish in the world's oceans, scientists have made a very surprising discovery: these fish are almost gone. Because of too much fishing, almost 90 percent of the worldwide population of large fish—the ones we usually eat—has disappeared. If we don't act, these animals will totally disappear. That will influence every animal in the ocean. 

The demand for fish is growing. Almost a billion people around the world get their protein (蛋白质) mostly from fish. Doctors praise seafood for being low in fat. But what seems like a healthy choice for humans is causing a disaster to our oceans. "People are consuming (消费) too much," says Lance Morgan, a scientist at the Marine Conservation Biology Institute. 

A dish of tuna in restaurants costs more than just one animal's life. When fish like tuna disappear from the ecosystem (生态系统), the ocean's food chain (链) breaks down. Animals such as sharks, which normally eat tuna, may die because they find no food. 

The news may be scary, but taking action from now on can prevent harm that hasn't happened yet. World organizations are ordering countries to stop fishing too much. The Monterey Bay Aquarium gives seafood choices to anyone hoping to keep healthy without destroying the environment. 

"If you care about wildlife, first spend time and think about your own values and beliefs," says Morgan. "Then decide what you're going to eat."

American students have colourful school days. They usually get up at 7：00 a．m. from Monday to Friday. After breakfast they go to school by yellow school bus. They get to school at about half past eight. Students have seven classes in junior high school, four in the morning and three in the afternoon. 

Their classes are English writing, maths, history, science, PE, music and art.

At noon, students have lunch at school. They usually have some chicken and vegetables. They don't have a short break. They go back to continue having classes after lunch until three o'clock. After school, they do sport, like playing basketball or football with their friends.

Then they go home.Students usually watch TV before dinner. They have dinner at six in the evening. After that, they do their homework in their rooms. Sometimes they talk with their parents.

On the weekend, students don't have to get up early in the morning. 

They may get up at 9 or 10 o'clock. On Saturdays, they often go shopping or go to their grandparents' homes. And on Sundays, they go to a museum with their parents in the morning and have a big lunch at noon.

Soll is a village in the mountains in western Austria. And the Post Hotel is clean and not expensive. It is opened by a local family. From the hotel you can see the whole village, the forests and the mountains. Temperatures in summer are usually20℃ to 25℃ in the daytime, but much cooler by evening.

Visit Hawaii!

Maybe the most beautiful place in Hawaii is Kauai. You can visit its long, sandy beaches in the south and west of the island, and mountains and forests in the north, but don't be surprised if it rains in the centre of the island. Daytime temperatures there are usually around 24℃to26℃ by the sea, and only a little cooler by late evening.

②Your values are taught to you by different influences that you grew up around and that every person has, your parents, friends, teachers and the society in which you live. Your values are to guide you throughout your life choices.

③I've come to have many values of my own, and my most important value is compassion. I began to know and feel it from a young age when I realized that I enjoy helping others. Growing older I did as many things as I could to help anyone in need, I didn't care what I got in return. I just enjoy the thought that someone needs me. I would babysit during the summer for my neighbors and didn't ask for pay in return. Makayla, my childhood best friend and I would volunteer to help the old people in the old people's home.

④Another main value that is important to me is politeness. When I walk through a door, I always tell myself to look around and see if anyone is near me. If not, I will continue through the door, but if someone is close behind, I prefer to wait a bit longer and hold the door open for them. I enjoy smiling at people and let them know that I care, even if I don't know them.

⑤Aristotle said, "You are what you repeatedly do. Excellence is not an event, it is a habit." Now I'm still being taught many values that will become a habit in the future. Although my main two that I talked about are so important to me, I still have many more values. These values will help me in deciding my future and point me in a positive direction.
