My name is Lucy. I am now in China. I am a student of No. 4 Middle School. There are some clubs in our school. They are an English club, an art club, a music club, a ball game club, a swimming club, a chess club and a computer club. There is a "Show Yourselves (你们自己)!" Festival in our school. On that day, students from different clubs show their talents in difficult ways (用不同的方式). They can sing English songs and draw. They can play the guitar, the violin, the piano and drums. They can also play chess and show us their swimming skills (技巧). They like this festival very much. I join the art club. I draw many nice pictures for the festival. That makes me very happy.

Many families find it useful to write down some rules about what family members are expected to do. （A）    Every family member should know what is or isn't allowed. The rules can be stuck (粘贴) on the fridge. In this way,younger children can have a chance to read them. 

You can manage to make simple rules as soon as your child has language skills to understand them. Young children will need parents' support to follow rules. They need help to understand and remember the rules. You can give your child a hug if he does well. 

Rules are also helpful to teenagers. Instead of sticking the rules on the fridge ,it's a good idea to keep them somewhere a little more private. For example,teenagers can stick the rules on the walls of their bedrooms. 

Rules about safety are important to teenagers. Many people

Xie loves collecting (收集) sports things. He started collecting things from NBA stars in high' school in California. And in his college (大学) years in Beijing, he started collecting Chinese sports things. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}"At that time, I had many sports collections, and I wanted to show them at the hotel, " said Xie. To his surprise, visitors liked seeing them, so he decided to build a museum.

Pan Yuzhen, 77, comes from Taijiang County, Guizhou Province. She is an inheritor(继承人) of Miao embroidery(刺绣).

" The girls in my hometown can embroider at an early age. When I was five years old, I learned embroidery from my mother and sister. Miao embroidery skills are not easy to learn, but I have learned all embroidery methods," Pan said. At first, Pan embroidered for her own use, but as she grew older and married, her skills were put to use for her family, creating beautiful embroidered clothes.

Pan's daughter Zhang Yammei, who was born in 1977, suffered from an illness at the age of three. To treat her daughter and feed the family, Pan embarked on (开始) a journey, travelling to different cities to sell her Miao embroidery products.

In 1999, Zhang went to Beijing to join her mother. At that time, Pan had a store in a market. Here, she met a lot of foreign friends who were attracted by her embroidery skills and encouraged her to expand her business abroad." They advised me to go to foreign countries and sell cultural and creative products. Then I went to the US to do business connected with Miao embroidery," Pan said.

In 2016, Pan's career took a huge leap forward as she worked with a famous clothing brand in China . With the help of the brand, Pan went to the UK to take part in different fashion shows. Now Pan is well- known. Pan hopes more young people can inherit Miao embroidery skills.
