Two young trees are standing at the top of a hill．Their names are Tim and Alan．One day，it's sunny and warm．Some birds are singing in the trees．The wind blows，and the trees are talking．“What do you want to be when you grow up?”asks Tim．“I'm not sure．I think I want to be a chair or a desk，”answers Alan，“Maybe I want to be a toy box．I like children．”“What do you want to be when you grow up?”asks Alan．“Me?”says Tim，“I just want to be a tree．I want to be a home for birds．I want to have many apples．And when it's sunny and hot，people and animals can stand under me．”

    On October 1st, we went to Wuyishan in Fujian by train. We stayed at a beautiful hotel. It was cool and cloudy on October 2nd. In the morning we climbed the mountains and went to see the waterfall. We were tired, but we were happy. In the afternoon we went on a raft trip . We took some pictures. We had a lot of fun there. 

    Mr Smith has a farm. His farm is very big. On his farm, he has sixteen cows, twelve horses fifteen pigs and thirteen ducks. There are nine hens and eleven chicks, too. Look, the cows are eating grass. The grass is green. They are fresh(新鲜的). But the horses don't like grass. They like eating hay. The hay is yellow. They are dry, too. What are the pigs doing? They are sleeping in the hey. They are big and fat. They go "Oink, Oink..." They look lovely. I like pink pigs very much. But I don't like black pig.

    Wang Ting is a cute girl. She's eleven years old. She has a new skirt. It's orange. It's 65 yuan. Wang Ting has a little sister. Her name is Wang Ii. Wang Li is five years old. She has big eyes. She has a new dress. It's green. It's 49 yuan.

    Simon and Daming are good friends. They are Chinese. But they are working in America. Sometimes they miss their families. So they always go to Chinatown. There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there. They go shopping and eat delicious food there. You know, Simon and Daming really miss China and they both like Chinese food.

Sarah: Where did you go over the winter holiday?

Amy: My family and I went to Sanya.

Wu Binbin: Really? Did you like it?

Amy: Yes, it was so warm.

Sarah: Hainan is far from here. How did you go there?

Amy: We went there by plane.

Wu Binbin: How was the beach? What did you do there?

Amy: It was beautiful. I took lots of pictures, and I also went swimming.

Sarah: Sounds great! Can I see your pictures sometime?

Amy: Sure.
