Hello, I'm Jack. I am a student. I have many friends at school. I go to school by bus; the school is near my home. Tom goes to school by bike. John goes to school by car. His mother drives(驾驶) the car. Mary goes to school by taxi. We are happy at school.

    Tom , Lisa , Jim , Mary and Linda are good friends . Lisa likes meat and fish . Tom doesn't like rice , milk , and fish . Jim likes rice and bananas . Mary doesn't like rice , bananas and milk . Linda likes rice and milk .

Lily：Where are you going this summer holiday?

Mike：I'm going to Shanghai.

Lily：Oh, I went there with my mum last summer holiday.

Mike：Really? How did you get there ?

Lily：I went to Shanghai by train . It was crowded on the train.

Mike：I'm going there by plane.

Lily：Good idea. Who are you going with?

Mike：I'm going with my parents.

Lily：Shanghai is very beautiful .We were very happy on our trip. You will have a good time .

    It's Saturday morning. My parents and I are on a tour bus. There are about twenty people on the bus. Some are from America, and some are from England and Australia. They are all our friends. We are going to the Great Wall. On the bus, there are two Chinese. One is a woman, the other is a man. The woman is good at English. She is talking with us about the Great Wall. The other people are listening to her. They like the Great Wall. They want to see it very much.

    My name is Lisa.  I'm from Canada.  I am in Shanghai American School. Our school is big and beautiful. There are 15 pupils in my class. Our Chinese teacher is Miss Wang. We have six lessons every day. I can speak a little Chinese. I have a good friend. Her name is Mary. She is tall and thin.

    A mother and her young son get onto a bus in a city and sit down. The bus conductor comes to them for their money. The mother says ,"I want one ticket (票) to the zoo." Then she gives the conductor the money. The conductor looks at the small boy for a few seconds and says to him, "How old are you, young man?" The mother wants to say something, but the conductor stops her, and the boy says, "I'm four years old at home, but two in buses." The mother's face turns red. She has to give the money of another ticket to the conductor.
