So far, China has successfully sent a large number of satellites(卫星)and spaceships into space. Space scientists have been greatly inspired by the old stories and ancient famous people when giving them names. 

Since thousands of years ago, Chinese people have dreamed of going to the moon. Chang'e Flies to the Moon is one of the most popular stories. As you can see, China's first man-made satellite to circle around the moon was named Chang'e I. More interestingly, the moon rover( 巡 视器)was named after the Jade Rabbit(玉兔), who is the partner of Chang'e in the story. These old stories carry people's best wishes and dreams. With the development of science and technology, our scientists have made them come true. 

Kua Fu Runs After the Sun is another story to show how much ancient Chinese people

wanted to know about the unknown world. Now, Kua Fu is going with the scientists to"visit"the sun, because we have a space project called KuaFu Mission. 

Besides the ancient stories, space scientists also get ideas from ancient famous people. For example, Mozi, an ancient scientist, discovered that light travels in a straight line over 2, 000 years ago. His discovery made space study take a big step at that time. So, China's first quantum(量子) science satellite was named Mozi, making China the first country in the world to achieve quantum communication between satellites and the ground. 

From such simple things as giving names to the satellites, we can see how great our traditional culture is and what influence it has on our modern science and technology. 

Kate is both my classmate and my best friend. I first met her when I went to junior high school

Kate is tall and slim(苗条的). She has long hair. She has big eyes and a small nose. I like her smiling face best It makes her look really pretty and kind. Kate is a friendly girl. She always has a smile on her face and looks happy. She likes to help people. She helps me with my homework and she is very patient. When I feel bored or unhappy, I often go to her. She will talk to me and tell me interesting things. 

Kate wants to work with children. She would like to be a teacher when she grows up. I think she will be a great teacher. 

①We all think that history is really important, but how much does it actually matter?

②A famous writer from the 20th and 21st centuries, Michael Crichton, once said, If you don't know history, you don't know anything. You are a leaf that doesn't know it is part of a tree. "But not everyone agrees. George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, a philosopher from the 19th century, said, "The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing. "Karl Marx from the 19th century said, "History repeats itself first as a tragedy, second as a farce(闹剧). So, we do learn from history, but that doesn't mean we don't make the same mistakes again.

③However, in my eyes, history tells us where we come from, what we did right, and what we did wrong. It gives us warnings for the future and helps us move forward with knowledge. We might repeat mistakes, but at least we can move forward with our eyes open.

④As we head into the future, it's important to know not only our own history but the one of our neighbor countries. What better ways to understand a country than through its people?

⑤We asked people from different countries to recommend the best books about their history. We also looked into our own country's past, remembering stories that meant something to us when we were growing up. This way, different perspectives on world history can be learned.

⑥You can take a quick trip through the history of England, from its earliest people to the  21st century. You' ll learn about the turbulent (动荡的) history of the US and then fly across the globe to hear stories from Kenya, Australia and the Philippines. The histories you' ll read about will help you explore different parts of the world and different times in history.

Dust storms （沙尘暴） appear when a strong wind blows sand and dirt from a dry surface. Strong dust storms may cause people to die, so you should know how to protect yourself from dust storms when you meet them. 

Be careful of dust storm warnings （预告）

Dust storms probably happen on hot summer days, and it's not safe for people to travel during this period. So you should listen to the local TV or radio before travelling, and consider changing or giving up your trip if dust storms are to come. 

Be prepared

If you are in a place where storms often happen, carry a mask （面具） to keep dust and dirt away from your face, and a pair of glasses to protect your eyes. 

Stay inside

Do not move around when a dust storm comes, as you will not be able to see hidden dangers. So if you are in a house, don't go out and just stay inside. 

Protect yourself from flying objects

Cover your body as much as possible in a dust storm. A strong wind of dust storms can carry heavy objects, so you should try to stay low, and close to the ground, and protect your head with your arms or a backpack （背包）. 

①Have you ever wondered why we can't control those"achoo" moments? Welcome to the unusual world of sneezes(打喷嚏). Here is some interesting knowledge about it

②First, it all starts with a tickle(痒). Whether it's dust, pepper, or a simple ray of sunshine as long as your body thinks it might be something harmful, your brain gets a warning that it's time to sneeze. It's like the first sound in a sneezing concert. What's more, a sneeze is like a small pop. It can travel up to 100 miles per hour (160 km per hour)! Imagine your sneeze going past at the speed of a raving can. It's your nose's way of saying,"    ▲    "

③After a sneeze, we often say"bless you". It's believed to stop you from evil spirits who' re trying to get into your body during a sneeze. So, every bless you' is like a mini exorcism(驱邪) for your nose. Also, one sneeze can start a chain(连锁) reaction. Sneezes are a bit like a kind of illness which can spread from one to another. For example, once one person starts, it's hard for others not to join in. It's the social side of sneezing!

④Finally, did you know that some people else their eyes without thinking anything when they sneeze? It's like a built-in part of your body, and scientists aren't sure why it happens.

⑤All in all, after knowing the unusual world of sneezes, we should let it be. The next time you feel a tickle in your nose and the feeling to sneeze, just accept it. It's not just a sneeze. Instead, it's an unusual, uncontrollable performance brought to you by the one and only, your fantastic nose!
