    This is my room. Near the window there is a desk. I often do my homework at the desk. You can see some books, some flowers, a ruler and a pen on it. On the wall near the desk there is a picture of a cat. There is a clock above my bed. I usually put my football under my bed. There is a chair in front of the desk. I can see the trees and the roads outside when I sit there.

We have three classes in the morning and two in the afternoon . We go home at four thirty . My father is a policeman . My mother is a driver . I love my father and mother .

    It's nine o'clock in the evening. The family is at home. Jim's father is sitting on a chair. He's watching TV. Jim's mother is standing near the window. She's giving some food to a bird, Polly. Polly says, "Thanks! Thanks!" Where's Jim? Oh, he is behind the door. Kate, Jim's sister, is looking for him. They are playing games. They have no homework on Sunday evening.

The Mid-Autumn Festival

    Good afternoon, everyone. I'm a student from China. In China there are many traditional(传统的) festivals. But I want to tell you something about my favourite festival. This festival is in autumn. It is the Mid-Autumn Festival. My mother makes delicious moon cakes at this festival. I love the Mid-Autumn Festival because I love moon cakes a lot. We often have a big family dinner. After dinner, we enjoy the full moon with all the family members. My dear father sings a song for us when we are watching the moon. The night at this festival is very lovely. So do you like the Mid-Autumn Festival?

    Mark Twain was a great American writer. He was very busy, so he often forgot something.

    One day he went to a city by train. When he was in the train, the conductor(售票员)asked him for his ticket, but he couldn't find the ticket. The conductor knew Mark Twain. She said, "Show me your ticket on your way back. If you can't find it, it doesn't matter. "

    "Oh, no," said Mark Twain. "I must find the ticket. I can't find it, how can I know where I'm going?"
