I have struggled with feelings of unworthiness since forever. My most painful moments were at parties. My friends made fun of me because I was rhythmically (有节奏地)1 and I couldn't get my2 body to imitate the latest dance moves. I was never chosen to dance. I felt like I didn't3 . 

Around age 12, I decided that the way to4 these feelings of unworthiness was perfection. If I was just perfect then I would fit in. But this strategy didn't5 .My self-esteem (自尊心) was high when I got good grades and felt6 , but crashed when I didn't do well7 , or was left out. 

After several years of spiritual growth, it8 me that for many of us, self-worth is tied to our9 . We experience low self-worth10 we fail or lose approval. So I have begun to cultivate an unconditional self-worth. It's not about doing things perfectly.11 , "Unconditional self-worth" is the12 that you deserve to be alive, to be loved and cared for. 

The13 to unconditional self-worth is not always easy. It takes courage to free yourself from the 14 you've placed on your worth. But this journey is beautiful and worth taking. So I challenge you to embrace yourselves and find your metaphorical (隐喻的) 15 floor and move freely.

When I began to study flower arranging （插花）, I was slowly developing a deeper understanding of the 1 between all life. 

In our first class, my teacher said that flowers can 2 talk and that they each have their own 3 of being beautiful. They have "prana" life force, so you have to pay full attention to them, rather than 4 your own ideas of beauty on them. So I began to ask the flowers how they wanted to be 5 and what positioning would make them 6 most beautiful. I waited and listened. 

Even after the flowers had been 7 in the vase, I would discover sometimes that in the morning they had rearranged themselves during the night. Even if they were secured in the 8 , hey always seemed to b silently straining （尽力） t find their 9 place. 

At the same time, they were not 10 independent; they needed loving care. They were dependent on me, or whomever their 11 was for the day, to water them. Watching other people spraying water on the arrangements sometimes, I would feel so 12 by the scene. Small drops of water on the flowers touched the source of life and nourished the heart of beauty. 

This experience made me feel how 13 it could be, if our minds are set in the right way to water not only plants, but 14 , to treat all living creatures in a way that 15 them their right to be beautiful, in their own 16 and time. 

What we came to notice was that flowers could also 17 . Our teacher urged us to always 18 the flowers when we passed how beautiful they were and to thank them for sharing that 19 with us. 

When we made our arrangements with this kind of 20 , we found that the flowers remained beautiful and fresh for many more days than expected. 

A big fire took the life of the mother in this family. When I 1 , the father and his child Mario were 2 staying in a garage. There were already quite a few 3 at the door. A mother and her daughter caught my 4 . The mother said to her 5 , "Look, this is the best jacket your daddy just 6 . This quilt is Mommy's best one. We all can 7 our best to Mario's family, so why can't you give your best? Can we change this old bear to your most 8 one?"

The daughter asked, "If I give away my best to Mario, will he give it back to me?" I couldn't help but 9 , "Of course not, once you donate something, you can't 10 to get it back."

Together, we 11 the garage. As the little girl's mother 12 the quilt and clothes, the girl took Mario's hand, whose eyes filled with tears, and 13 and carefully placed her mother's 14 into Mario's small one. Her face was pale. She bit her 15 as if making a big 16 , and said, "Mario, I am donating my mom to you, now you have a mom." After doing so, tears streamed down her cheeks, and she turned and 17 .

British rower Helen Glover is preparing for her fourth Olympic Games, pushing herself to the limit. Despite resisting bloodied and blistered hands and pale skin, Glover knows that physical 1 are just one aspect of the intense training required for the Olympics.

For Glover, the real challenge 2 the day-to-day tiredness and the constant 3 of waking up and training. With two gold medals from the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, her fourth-place finish in Tokyo was remarkable considering her 4 preparation. Just a year after giving birth to twins and four years after 5 , Glover made the bold decision to 6 in the Olympics with only six months of serious training. Juggling（尽量兼顾）childcare with her 7 schedule, she managed to reach the starting line and 8 miss out on a medal.

It was a typical weekend for Mitch White and his friends. They were out celebrating a bachelor party, sailing the peaceful waters of the Minnesota River. They never expected that this single party would transform from a relaxed canoe trip into a painful rescue mission. With the sun setting, an unexpected bark changed everything.

Led by Mitch White, the soon-to-be-married man, they searched for the source of the sound along the banks of the river. Suddenly, a weak cry for help came from the mud. They were surprised to find that the head of a 13-year-old St. Bernard named Ed was barely visible in the thick mud. Mitch said, "The dog wasn't moving on its own, so we should feed it and give it water. " The dog looked like i had used all its strength.

The men took up their oars（桨） and began digging, their festive mood giving way to a focused rescue mission. It took them more than half an hour to free the trapped dog as it was already breathing very feebly after possibly being trapped for 24 hours. When they got the poor fellow out of the mud, he couldn't walk, so they carried him back to the house. Back home with his owner, George Niskanen, Ed began his slow restoration-a happy ending to a dangerous adventure. George was thankful to the bachelor party heroes.

Now, the people of Carver, Minnesota, have new heroes to cheer for. Indeed, this incredible act of bravery and compassion redefined the meaning of a bachelor party. It became a heroic tale of humanity, friendship, and the instinct（本能）to do what's right.

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon. My husband was taking care of our baby girl so that my six-year-old son and I could do some yard work, just the two of us. It was sure to be 1 . But soon, the clouds of mosquitos seemed 2 to our bug spray (喷雾). I was sweating, itchy, and arguing with my son about how to pull weeds. I had told him the "right" way — getting those weeds out from the bottom, by the roots, 3 them entirely. 

However, my son went about things in his own way. He pulled the 4 of the weeds off, moving quickly down the line as he left the remaining part still in the soil. Somehow, I found this to be incredibly 5 . Why couldn't he do it in my way and save me the time of having to 6 his portion (部分)? Why did he do it at all if he wasn't going to do it properly? 

"If you do as told, we'd be done earlier and 7 a longer period before we would have to return and pull weeds next time," I said, trying to keep my tone 8 . 

He went back to his work, shaking dirt from his handful of growing things and throwing 9 stems into our shared basket. "People do things 10 , Mom," he said innocently. 

My fire soon faded, replaced by the 11 realization that I'd just received a valuable12 from the person that I was supposed to be teaching. While trying to 13 my baby girl, my kindergartener, and the yard work, 14 was a lifeline for me. But my way was, perhaps, not the best way after all. His time shouldn't be 15 . His job was to be a kid and take his time, for as long as he was able.
