Today is Sunday. We don't go to school. So after breakfast I go to the park with some of my good friends. In the park, there are many people. They are doing exercise. Some women are dancing. Some people are playing badminton. Some girls are skipping, and some people are walking and running. Why do they work so hard? Because they want to be strong and healthy.

    Mary, Bob and Tom are good friends. Mary likes blue, but Bob likes brown and Tom likes green. What are their favourite clothes? Mary likes dresses. Bob and Tom like shorts. Their favourite subject is English. Do you know what their favourite school work is? Mary likes to sing songs. Bob and Tom like to read books.

    Of all the things we eat and drink, water is the most important. Nature has a great water system. Water is everywhere. It is in the air. It forms (组成) lakes and rivers. Water is in every living thing. It is in the most part of all the animals, plants and human beings (人类).

    People can use the water to carry goods and go around the world. People can also use the water to swim, have a bath, wash the food and clothes. Water is so important for every living thing, but man is polluting (污染) it. They throw rubbish into rivers. They pour waste water into lakes, rivers and seas. We must stop people from polluting the water right now. If not, the last drop of water will be our tear drop.

    Mrs Wang is going to have a birthday party for her daughter, Fangfang. Fangfang is going to be fourteen years old. A lot of Fangfang's friends are going to the party. More than forty girls will be there. They will sing and dance at the party. Mrs Wang is getting ready for the party. Mrs Zhang is helping her. "Let me help you. I'll make a big birthday cake," Mrs Zhang says to Mrs Wang. Mr. Wang is shopping. He is going to buy some fruit and drinks for the party. And he is going to buy a pink bike for Fangfang. Fangfang always asks him for a bike. He thinks that Fangfang will have a great birthday.

    It is autumn in April here in Sydney. Autumn is my favourite season! It is warm in the day and cool at night. Many people visit us in autumn because they like the weather. When you come, you can visit the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It is the largest event in Australia.
