The opening ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games marked the richest and most skillful use of AR (增强现实技术) in history. 

"Technologies such as AR have allowed us to express more, " said Sha Xiaolan, director of the opening ceremony. "We've fully put AR into the opening ceremony. It offers people special experience to feel Chinese culture in Hangzhou. "

At 8 p. m. on Saturday at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, the opening ceremony started with an amazing performance. It showed the culture, history and natural beauty of Hangzhou and Zhejiang. 

The technologies were fully used into each of the programs from beginning to end. It started with Kongming Lanterns and ended up with digital (数字的) fireworks and a digital torchbearer（火

炬手）. All of these meant Hangzhou's promise to be an environmentally friendly Asian Games.

"You saw a little AR during the closing ceremony at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. But it was fully a part of the performance and brought things like water to life at this ceremony. " Sha Xiaolan said. "Because of it, the opening ceremony was beyond expectations（超出预期）. "

In Beijing, along the famous Chang' an Street, a lot of bikers ride very expensive bikes. It is said that bikes are priced at between 1,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan. Bike riding becomes popular among people in some big Chinese cities.

Li Ming, who worked as a sales manager at Specialized before, said that people became interested in having a bike especially in China's big cities. He added that now many people could accept high prices for premium(高端的) bikes.

As the two Olympic Games were held in our country, the government started to pay more attention to sports. People began to realize the importance of having a healthy body. It's said that the popularity of bike riding is related(相关的) to the COVID-19 epidemic, people's higher living standards and people's awareness(意识) of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

At the same time, more and more bike lanes(自行车道) are built in some big cities. People's need for a lot of bikes is a big chance for bike makers. Some best selling road bike s are always sold out quickly.

One day, Miss Foster said to her class, " What are you thankful(感激的) for Please draw a picture of it. " Her students drew different things. Most of them were beautiful, 1 Mark's was different. 

Mark drew a pair of hands(手) and they were very 2 . Miss Foster and the class were surprised. They looked at the picture and talked about who had such dirty hands.

I'm Tony. I'm an English boy, but now I'm in Wuhan. My parents came to Wuhan for work. So I came here with them. 

I like Chinese very much. It's my favourite subject, so I always ask my Chinese classmates for help. And I help them with their English. In my free time, I like watching TV and practising Chinese from it. After eight months, I can speak Chinese very well. 

I'm good at science, too. I think it's very interesting and useful. But I'm not good at maths. I don't know much about maths. Maths lessons are not easy for me. I want to thank my Chinese classmates. They always help me with it.

On a recent Saturday morning, an excited crowd gathered together on San Francisco's waterfront.  They were watching in amazement as bubble (气泡) artist Kurth Reis slowly drew a large bubble from his bucket (桶) and released it into the air.  Several minutes later, the bubble suddenly popped.  A little girl in the crowd jumped and clapped.  She turned to Reis, eager for another show.  The "bubble man" had succeeded once again in bringing a little bit of joy to others.  

The 49-year-old traveled a rocky path to his new "job".  In 2018, Reis, then a deliveryman, had a serious motorcycle accident.  The man had several operations.  Each time he woke up after an operation, he felt like he had been "reborn".  Following 88 days in the hospital, he felt ready to start a new life.  In 2020, COVID-19 fled his city with sorrow.  Reis thought about what he could do to help make people feel happy again.  He turned to soap and learned to make large bubbles.  

Last year, Reis began performing his art form in parks across San Francisco.  People started to call him the "bubble man".  Some of them give him tips, but the man says he doesn't care about the money.  Reis feels that his art is useful in more important ways.  Not long ago, a woman spoke to him after watching one of his performances.  She told him that she had been very sad ever since her father's death.  Seeing his "joyful" bubbles, however, made her feel much better.  

 "I can't save the world.  I'm not trying to," Reis says.  "But by making some bubbles, I can put a smile on somebody's face. "
