    On my way home from school last Friday, I saw a little dog on the sidewalk looking hopelessly. I was held it firmly up in my arms, took it home and feed some milk to it. However, my mom was unwilling to keep them, saying there was enough pets for us, two cats and a dog. I begged my mom not to let it go. Finally, we agreed that it would be deciding by my dad, whom didn't return home from work. Just then the girl and her father drove near, searching for their lost pets. When they thanked us taking care of the dog, I felt very happy.

    When I was young, I was terribly poor in the Chinese. Be afraid of expressing myself was one of the reasons that I rarely did well in school. Once I failed in a mid-term exam. When I got the papers, I realized things could have been better if I listened to the teacher much more attentive. So I turned to my teacher for helps and he told me, "Where there is a will, there is a way. If we are devoted to learning Chinese, you'll make it." I couldn't agree much. From then on, I began to work harder. Out of my expect, I made great progress soon. Today, Chinese is where my strength lies. And I'm grateful for my Chinese teacher.

    I participated in a gymnastic competition last Saturday. My mom or sister went to the stadium to cheer for me. My mom seemed to have sensed my anxious. She comforted me by tell me that I was the best. Besides, she told me to close my eye and take a deep breath. When it was my turn to performing, I entered with a smile and wave to the crowd. I just focused my performance. At the end of the competition, my mom gave me a warmly hug. My sister said it, "You should regard this as a glorious defeat." Although I didn't won, I felt proud of myself.
