As is known,{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (play) team sport is popular all over the world, and participation in sporting{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (activity), such as football or basketball, is {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(benefit) to us in many aspects.

    To begin{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, it can build up our bodies and help us keep fit physically,{#blank#}5{#/blank#}in turn enables us{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(avoid) overweight and other problems, such as high blood pressure.{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (add), it is a good way to develop some useful team skills, teamwork and strategies {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(include). Last but not {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(little), we often play sport for social reasons, for it is a good way of making new friends.

Recently I failed an exam. However, after I came out of my teacher's office, I told myself, "Smile! It's not so serious."

    I smiled a big smile and it worked a little, really.

Everyone gets frustrated sometimes. I used to be always influenced by {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (press) and I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (be) often in low spirits. But one day I came {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a sentence in the Bible. "Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself, let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day." It suddenly struck me, "{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (worry) about a problem doesn't help. Why not just give a big smile and face up the trouble?"

    Now every time I want to cry, I remind myself that laughter is better than {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (tear) and anger. I{#blank#}6{#/blank#} (convince) that there's something magical about a smile. A smile helps me recover confidence and gives me the courage to move on.

    Remember, whenever {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (face) with a setback, whenever you've been treated {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (unfair),{#blank#}9{#/blank#} it takes is determination and you can feel happy again. Smile at life,{#blank#}10{#/blank#} it will shine on you.

There has been a recent trend in the food service industry toward lower fat content and less salt. This trend,{#blank#}1{#/blank#}was started by the medical community(医学界) as a method of fighting heart disease, has had some unintended side{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(effect) such as overweight and heart disease—--the very thing the medical community was trying to fight.

    Fat and salt are very important parts of a diet. They are required to process the food that we eat, to recover{#blank#}3{#/blank#}injury and several other bodily functions. When fat and salt{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(remove) from food, the food tastes as if it is missing something.

    As{#blank#}5{#/blank#}result, people will eat more food to try to make up for that something missing. Even{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(bad), the amount of fast food that people eat goes up. Fast food{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(be) full of fat and salt; by{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(eat) more fast food people will get more salt and fat than they need in their diet.

    Having enough fat and salt in your meals will reduce the urge to snack(吃点心) between meals and will improve the taste of your food. However, be{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(care) not to go to extremes. Like anything, it is possible{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(have) too much of both, and this is not good for your health.

    Do you Douyin？

    Got a moment – or, perhaps, 15 seconds? In the age of fragmented (碎片化的) time, Douyin, which is a massive hit in China right now, can perfectly fill in the gaps when people have nothing {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (good) to do between two events; its daily plays {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (spread) over one billion in the past few years. The Meipai(美拍)-like app allows users to produce creative short videos that combine music with mouth shapes or body moves. They can dance, sing, cook or do {#blank#}3{#/blank#} their hearts desire.

    Launched in September 2016, Douyin {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (own) by Zhang Yiming, one of China's top tech leaders; he chairs ByteDance. Similar to how Meipai worked {#blank#}5{#/blank#} a time-limited video platform (平台), Douyin is a {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (collect) of brief 15-second music videos, mainly focused on young people, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} it's certainly suitable for all ages.

    On the platform, childish and strange behaviors are {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (total) acceptable. In high-pressure world, it is no surprise that Douyin has become so successful – all you need to do is pick up your phone and open the app to relieve some stress and have {#blank#}9{#/blank#} laugh. The app pushes related videos and products based on users' preferences and consequently, Douyin can be quite addictive – many people just want to enjoy a few minutes at first, but end up {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  (consume) several hours' video time.

    Once there lived a rich man {#blank#}1{#/blank#}wanted to do something for the people of his town. But first he wanted {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (find) out whether they deserved his help.

    In the centre of the main road into the town, he placed{#blank#}3{#/blank#} very large stone. Then he {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(bury) himself behind a tree and waited. Soon an old man came along with his cow.

    "Who put this stone in the centre of the road?" said the old man, but he did not try to remove the stone. Instead, with some difficulty he passed around the stone {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (slow) and continued on his way. Another man came along and did the same thing ; then another came, and another. All of them complained about the stone but not tried to remove {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. Late in the afternoon a young man came along . He saw the stone, {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(say) to  himself ,"The night will be very dark. Some {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(neighbor) will come along later in the dark and will fall against the stone."

    Then he began to move the stone. He pushed with all his {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(strong) to move it. How great his surprise was at last! He found a bag of money {#blank#}10{#/blank#} the stone.
