Many English language learners believe that the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (great) difficulty with listening comprehension (理解) is that the listener cannot control how quickly a speaker speaks. They feel that what the speaker says disappears {#blank#}2{#/blank#} they can follow. This frequently means that students {#blank#}3{#/blank#} are learning to listen cannot keep up. They are so busy working out the meaning{#blank#}4{#/blank#} one part of what they hear that they miss the next part. Another difficulty is that the listener is not always in a position to get the speaker to repeat what has been said.     A US teenager criticized（批评）on social media for wearing a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (tradition) Chinese dress to her high school prom（毕业舞会）defended her decision and has won support from netizens（网民）in China.

    Keziah Daum, 18, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} high school senior in Utah, faced a strong reaction from thousands online, some of whom accused her of “cultural appropriation（文化挪用）” after she posted four prom pictures on Twitter on April 22 that featured her wearing a qipao, a body-hugging one-piece Chinese dress for {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (woman). “I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (praise) by the many people from China who have both reached out to me and have posted to social media their viewpoints.     A good teacher is many things to many people. In my own experience, the people I respect most are the teachers {#blank#}1{#/blank#} demanded the most discipline from their students.

    I miss one teacher in particular that I had in high school. I think she was a good teacher because she was a very strict person.     I think sometimes teachers who demand most are liked {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. But {#blank#}10{#/blank#} time goes by this discipline really seems to benefit the students.

In 1770 the room was completed the way she wanted.
